BillM
I'll see what I can whip up when I get home from work Mike. Those are the full resolution originals? If not, make sure you post up links to them.

danc
Unfortunately there is no way to recover blown highlights, or over exposure. The info is simply not there to recover. It's amazing what you can recover from an underexposed photo (the opposite of this case). I spent a few minutes with these shots this morning and did no better than Joey. Paul mentioned on the original thread about this fish that he made the mistake of photographing the fish with the sun shining on it. I go out of my way to have the sun shining on the fish caught in my boat. In fact, it is a carefully orchestrated event to do this. Something must have gone terribly wrong with Pauls attempt or his camera. Even the cheapest of cheapest point and shoot camera should have had much much better results that this in auto mode. Sad story really to catch a fish like this and not have a decent photo of it.
BillM
If the photo was in RAW format, you could do anything with it. Unfortunately it's not.. It's still a cool looking pic blown out like that however. All the important bits are there
