Beans Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) Another few days like today and we will be launching our boats... The rest of the lake is still ice covered... Most of the snow is gone except in the woods... Edited April 21, 2013 by Beans
fishnsled Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Looks like most of the Kawarthas should be a go for the weekend. Simcoe is looking good as well. http://coastwatch.glerl.noaa.gov/modis/modis.php?region=o&page=1&template=sub&image=t1.13105.1546.LakeOntario.143.250m.jpg
captpierre Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 Thanks for that, Beans. I'm on the south shore. Will be a little later but not much longer
Beans Posted April 21, 2013 Author Report Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) Another few days like today and we will be launching our boats... Alpine Shoreline 15 Apr 2013 001.jpg The rest of the lake is still ice covered... Most of the snow is gone except in the woods... Six days later... note how high the water is...the little island is nearly submerged... some bays and lagoons along the north shoreline still have ice from the high south winds yesterday blowing the loose ice in...
