Scott S Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 I have a bunch of old fishing line that I would like to get rid of. Does anyone know of any spots that I can take it too. I use to take it to Lou at Simcoe Bait. Thanks Scooter

moxie Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) Stuff in a 2 litre pop bottle and put it out with the blue bin ! Awesome wealth of knowledge. Edit: Forgot the "E" in Aw"E"some. Edited April 12, 2013 by moxie
irishfield Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 It heads it in the right direction at least.. and trust me the crap they're making from reground pop bottles isn't going to be effected by a few ounces of what ever molecular structure of fishing line you're using. Not that I know anything about plastics.....
davey buoy Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 That's a great idea Wayne,I bring mine home and right in the garbage. As you said,it's at least heading in the right direction!
moxie Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 I'll take the "E" for 5$, Bob. hehehe. It heads it in the right direction at least.. and trust me the crap they're making from reground pop bottles isn't going to be effected by a few ounces of what ever molecular structure of fishing line you're using. Not that I know anything about plastics..... I never even considered it Wayne. A great idea indeed.
SirCranksalot Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 Stuff in a 2 litre pop bottle and put it out with the blue bin ! It rare that someone is trying to be helpful when they tell you to stuff it!
irishfield Posted April 12, 2013 Report Posted April 12, 2013 28 years in the plastics business and definitely not the first time I told someone to stuff it !
