I'm no walleye angler but it would be nice to fry a few up for the guys. Anyone fish that part of the French in May? I'd appreciate any tips! Last time I checked there are alot of protected grounds for up there for pickeral. But that was about 6 yrs ago things may have changed? If you plan on going into the bay keep your head up . Rich Clemens Posted April 6, 2013 Report Share Posted April 6, 2013 Can't think of which that may be - there are a number across on the island and most of the way down to Green Bay. Never tried for Walleye up there, biut I've seen a few folks here and there. Some were parked up River around the narrows - on the downward side, but that was in September.
