Hey everyone, just got word last night. The Cobourg fish lift will be held this SATURDAY, APRIL, 13. They are asking volunteers to be there by 8:30.

 

Directions:

 

From Toronto: Take Burnham St. Exit and go south, Go east on Elgin St, turn left on Ontario St, park in "The Mill" parking lot.

 

From Kingston: Take Division St. exit and go south, go west on Elgin St., turn right on Ontario St., park in "The Mill" parking lot.

Unfortunately it doesn't look I can make this year :(

 

It's a great event to help lift steelhead over the dam.

Excellent event! If I wasn't busy this weekend, I would definitely be there.

 

Only day in a year, when you are allowed to net fish without being fined. ;)

Are you sure Ron, just received an email from Margaret (MNR) and she says its a week from this, Saturday April 13th starting at 9:00am, and meeting at Pratts Dam

It was originally planned for this weekend but with the weather forecast, they postponed til the 13th. I just got word myself @ 12:30. Earliest I could get back to the puter.....
