davew3 Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) I do belive Art is correct. I could have tittled my topic on the Chicago matter in a better way. My intent was to bring to light the issues facing the US engineers and the attitude to the great lakes. First the issues with the carp and now the untreated sewage. I am a firm believer that the barrier to Lake Michigan should be a sealed permant one. If our freinds to the south still find this a tad distasteful, well we are all entitled to our opinions. aplumma Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 I agree it is an important piece and will gladly reopen it if the title is not inflammatory. Right now with the change over it is a little hectic here and I don't need a distraction such as it was. Thanks for your understanding and I have turned it back on with a different title. Art
grimsbylander Posted January 10, 2013 Report Posted January 10, 2013 Yeah that title was so offensive. LOL Read any forum related to hockey as a comparison.
moxie Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 (edited) Censorship? I'm frankly shocked and...... wait for it............Offended!! But I guess I can understand, well kind of, maybe? Edited January 11, 2013 by moxie

bdox Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 I think the slang term "butthurt" and it's definition accurately describe the locking of that thread butthurt (comparative more butthurt, superlative most butthurt) (slang) Overly annoyed, bothered or bugged because of a perceived insult; aimlessly offended; having an overly sensitive ego.
