Well around us the bobcaygeon area it's freezing rain again !!!! I wish it was snow ..?? Who else is getting it sposed to turn to rain today but snow in Haliburton ....

We have it over here too , it started last night , pretty thick build up now , gone take a good ice scraper this morning to get it off .. lol

Looks like a coating of ice on everything around here too Shaun, but the weather doods are calling for 6C today with rain and then warm again tomorrow.

 

If this is the worst weather we see this winter, I'm happy with that

Ya I hear you Lew !!! I don't like the freezing rain cause I live on a big hill and the stop sign at the bottom is a worry but hey I'm used to it !!!! I wish the lakes would freeze and we get snow so we can all have fun this winter this is always my worst time of the year my boats are put away and my sleds are all ready to go and at the moment I can't use any of them !!' i just got in from tuning lures. its 10c. here and a drizzle.theres still worms crawling on my lawn and bugs flying around. cant beat southern ont weather,except air quality lol.

I am in Timmins right now and it is snowing pretty good (again). We are looking at a few more days of it. It has been -10 to -15 for the last few days and below -20 overnight. People are skating on the ponds and snowmobiles are buzzing around. It is -8 right now.

Yesterday we had the small sweat bees flying around then just today I found a huge slug on the front door. I sure am getting used to these winters.

They are ice fishing on the back lakes. I wish I had the time but I am too busy working. There are endless back trails and endless lakes. It truly is an outdoorsman's paradise. Every 1200 metres or so off of highway 101 or 655 there is another trail going into the bush.

 

When I come back up after Christmas I am going to bring my sled at least. I won't have any time for ice fishing but I might be able to sneak in the odd blast on the sled.
