Nope, that's just an empty box, there's no food or food scraps anywhere outside the house and even the BBQ is cleaned on a regular basis. It's just an area where the critters like to hang out and I'm happy to have them. :)

Storing garbage bags in a shed this time of year is a draw as well---with garbage rotting quicker in this heat

Years ago I had a bear try and install a drive thru service in one of my sheds where I had some garbage bags

Note: OSB boards is like wrapping paper on a birthday gift to a bear

Lucky you. We get one every couple of years. Once it figures out there isn't a reliable food source around, it goes somewhere else. We had one on the front deck about 5 years ago, trying to get the feeders. I was all ready with the broom to go out and chase of the "racoon" I thought was out there. Thankfully, I turned on the light before I opened the door.

At least my wife isn't afraid of bears, not even the grizzly kind :canadian:

You live in a wonderful place Lew.

I'd love to be in a place like that, but my wife is too attached to city life

and my kids are comfortable here too.

Maybe one day when the kids are finished school ................
