I hate em!!

Seems to be a bunch of them this year so watch your four legged buddies.

My pup got smoked by one today, I pulled half the quills on site and the vet sedated him and pulled the rest $$$$.

My lab learned to leave them alone after the third time. I spent the money for the vet the first time as I was told you can't just pull them out... and that's what he did!

 

Leah and the girls tried the second time and Rikki would have none of it and kept running away. When I came home he just sat down and let me pull them out with the pliers. Same deal time #3.

 

I've keep the 'pine population in check ever since...

OMG !!! The poor little thing. I hate seeing a dog in pain.Breaks my heart Hope he will remember thatthe next time they cross paths, but probably wont.

My lab has been sprayed 3 times this summer by the same skunk, and she would do it again in a heartbeat

the dog hates having them pulled out but knows it has to be done and just keeps looking at you with those big tearful eyes

Friend of mine had to put a beagle down after it tried to have a taste of one. I have seen dozens dead on the road this.
