scugpg Posted April 21, 2011 Report Posted April 21, 2011 (edited) I was wondering if anyone knows where I can source walleye jigs like in the attached pic. Note the Green and Black jigs. They seem to have a black/dark silver hook on them that is strong, sharp and doesn't rust anywhere near some of the other ones out there. If anyone knows where I can source these in multiple colours and sizes let me know. Thanks. Edited April 22, 2011 by scugog

SRT8 smoker craft Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Go see Laurie at The Dixie tackle shop in st thomas she has some really nice darter heads (unpainted) with gammy hooks that would be great for eye's but she will order anything for you she's great to deal with
Nipfisher Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 That yellow one is in rough shape. Caught up in the rocks?
archie_james_c Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 Ive switched over to Lindy Exchange jigs almost exclusively. Very high quality hooks (points dont deform in the rocks) and you can swap weights/colours whenever you need
OhioFisherman Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 http://lurepartsonline.com/cart.php?m=product_list&c=1968 I have used these in the past, they have a good strong hook in them. Limited color selection though. Black works with everything?
scugpg Posted April 22, 2011 Author Report Posted April 22, 2011 That yellow one is in rough shape. Caught up in the rocks? Lol yes it's just there as an example it has the cheaper hook on it
watertight Posted April 22, 2011 Report Posted April 22, 2011 They look like Mustad hooks that are available at www.luremaking.com if you knew someone with jig molds. I'd help you out but I don't have the hooks at the moment.

esoxansteel Posted April 23, 2011 Report Posted April 23, 2011 I use owner flipping jig hooks on my walleye jigs for weed fishing, the eye comes out on a 30 degree angle, and I custom made my mold to take those hooks, they are tough, and extremely sharpe, and they pull through weeds like a knife through butter, I also use the same hooks for my tube jigs as well, they are expensive, and if im fishin rocks etc I will use mustad ultra-points instead
