Joeytier Posted March 26, 2016 Report Posted March 26, 2016 Trampled by Turtles Tbt is great! Bob Dylan's most scathing tune! Savage lyrics, and you can hear the vitriol spewing out of his mouth as he sings this song...brilliant!Idiot wind blowing like a circle around my skullFrom the Grand Coulee Dam to CapitolIdiot wind blowing every time you move you teethYou're an idiot babe. It's a wonder that you still know how to breathe.
ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 I see the Judgement Night soundtrack has got a few nods & while I think its great it just reminded me of a current collaboration between somewhat opposites, a LEGEND that should be mentioned in the same breath as Dick Dale.....Davie Allan & a metal head Joel Grind of Toxic Holocaust. It's more of a EP but man is it fantastic. Davie Allan has scored some of the best bikersploitation films...man this stuff is awesome
ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 (edited) Which naturally moves me into a Bob James vibe Edited March 27, 2016 by ckewley

ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 (edited) My absolutely favorite Blaxploitation film that really needs a proper Blu release. It's basically Get Carter set in the ghetto & it's FANTASTIC Edited March 27, 2016 by ckewley
ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 Just rock'n to the jazz tonight, Bob James
ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 Grover covered this earlier but Withers just brings it home
ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 If Bill Withers isn't ringing a bell maybe this song will bring it home
ckewley Posted March 27, 2016 Report Posted March 27, 2016 (edited) Lord Issac If anyone has a leaning towards Memphis soul/music & just how influential it is, it is a must see documentary called TAKE ME TO THE RIVER....all the greats are here Edited March 27, 2016 by ckewley
