kickingfrog Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Kempenfelt Bay now has ice as far as I can see from the bottom. Nowhere near good ice yet, but it's a start. The snow in the forecast is not going to help things though.
Terry Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 I just want to be able to hop on the skidoo and go anywhere, do you think I can do that this weekend with Kempenfelt frozen and I wonder what Kempenfelt Kelly does in the winter so many questions, so few answers..LOL

Rizzo Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 The last couple of days I've seen a guy ice fishing out near Centennial Beach a few hundred feet out from shore. I think there's a wreck down there?

Rizzo Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 I would agree with the "crazy" assessment. There's only been ice there a few days, and in some areas not far from where he is it still looks wet!
