Thats the coolest thing !! I've often wondered about what happens to the fish when rivers overflow thier banks. Now i know.

Yep, I'll never forget back in the early 80's when the Wilmot was literally wall to wall fish every spring ... you used to see trout swimming up the roadside gutters each time there was a big thaw around Orono

Remember one rainsoaked week over 20 years ago, buddy and I figured we hit Young's Creek at Vittoria, figured it was our best bet considering the rain, water was up into the parking lot below the dam, much the same scenario, crazy coho's were digging redds in the crushed gravel of the lot
