The recent rain has made us have to change plans somewhat. But that is how fishing goes. Tournament anglers sometimes prefish and then can't get to their fish. Ice fishing is really no different. Safety is always the first priority but we don't just fish a spot out of convenience either. We set out this morning on good safe ice with fish in the area and although the action wasn't fast and furious, we did catch a decent number of fish. The biggest fish of the day was 11lbs.

Here are a few photos of some of today's fish.

Just got back.

Iced one nice fish about 5 and a half, but that wind was a killer. I'll be back at 'er tomorrow evening.

Good job!

Perfect conditions today. We had a great flurry of action at dusk. Went 5 for 7 with the biggest coming in around 7 pounds. Of course the camera was dead.

Fish came on buckshots and cleos with shiners, and jigheads with 4-5" suckers.
