NAC Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 I was driving back to Waterloo last evening after a so-so day of kayak fishing Arran Lake. Feeling that my bass itch hadn't quite been scratched, I decided to make a pit stop in my hometown where I spent many late evenings as a kid fishing topwater. After a few huge Rocky's, small smallies and a small battle with two beavers to hold my position, I was rewarded. Not the fattest I've ever caught, but 22" and what an explosion of aerials this fish put up! The card in my left hand is my OFC Team#8 Bernie's Bandits, but never showed on the flash. Richard Elliott Jr., probably has it beat anyway.
tightline Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 That is a Beauty!!!!! Congrats Nomad...what a way to end a day!!!!!
jediangler Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Nice smallie, that would have been fun in the kayak. How did you do on Aaran? We caught a nice smallie there a couple of years ago.
Leecher Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 Nice bronze back nomad Jitterbug is my favorite lure for night time bassin... it sure is a blast seeing them hit it on surface Great job and thanks for sharing Leechman
Radnine Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 The card in my left hand is my OFC Team#8 Bernie's Bandits, but never showed on the flash. Richard Elliott Jr., probably has it beat anyway. Of course we'll take your word for it. Anyone from team 8 is an upstanding individual who's integrity is beyond reproach. Jim
GBW Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 nice bass for sure AND it wasn't a jitterbug as those things are garbage so it must have been a buzzbait....
splashhopper Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 nice fish... did u get to go for a "sleigh ride" with it too?
