mistaredone Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 Hey all, I'm up at Eagle Lake Bracebridge next week cottaging with friends and was looking to lake jump for some skies. Anyone know the area? I'm looking for a lake with some population and was hoping to keep the drive down. If anyone has any suggestions pm me or reply post. Thanks as always Steve
Rizzo Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 hmmm not too sure about muskies up that way other than rosseau, kahshe, sparrow but I don't think they are even that close
johnnyb Posted June 30, 2009 Report Posted June 30, 2009 True...Rosseau and Little Joe River...where is Eagle Lake, anyway? Specifically...we already know it's near Bracebridge
mistaredone Posted July 1, 2009 Author Report Posted July 1, 2009 Its up in Haliburton near Kennisis lake, Haliburton lake, Sparrow lake ect. Rosseau will have to wait a few weeks as its a good 2 plus hours drive. Lake of Bays have musky?
Musky or Specks Posted July 1, 2009 Report Posted July 1, 2009 If its up near Haliburton. Then fish Head, Grass and Kashagawigamog. Lots o musky there.
johnnyb Posted July 2, 2009 Report Posted July 2, 2009 I second the Head Lake vote, 'specially if you want numbers over size.
mistaredone Posted July 3, 2009 Author Report Posted July 3, 2009 Thanks guys! Heading up Saturday morning cant wait!!! Im gonna start on head to get the confidence up then maybe make some longer drives in search of the big one Hope to have lots of pics to post when I get back. Steve
