captpierre Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 Guys. With the sunny warm weather this week, I would like to clean the inside of the boat. Anybody know of the best way to clean the floor carpet properly?
Radnine Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 I have used a small Bissell Greeny (i think that is what it is called) that I borrowed off fo a friend. It is essentially a small wet vac with a little soap dispenser put in. It does a reasonable job but tough stains (blood, coffee stains) need to be pre-treated. Good luck! Jim
Pigeontroller Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 I use the turtle wax stuff from Canadian Tire, the one with the bruch attachment, the brush is no good, get a good stiff bristle cleaning brush. Spray and scrub!
Billy Bob Posted June 21, 2009 Report Posted June 21, 2009 I just take mine up to the do it yourself car wash and power wash the he!! out of it. Works GREAT but don't use the soap mode. Did that the fist time and had to keep rinsing the heck out of it to get it all out. Spent more money rinsing than washing.... Just turn on your bilge pump when you start...... Bob
trapshooter Posted June 22, 2009 Report Posted June 22, 2009 Power washer all the way! Start at the front, wash everything to the back and suck it out with a shop vac.
