snagmaster
Have the next two days free to go fishing. With the forcasted 30km/hr winds where should I go? It will be way to windy for lake O, Gbay, simcoe. Was thinking of going to the muskokas for Pike and walleye. Any thoughts? Thanks guys Edited May 19, 2009 by snagmasteral
mikeh
honey harbour area has lots of sheltered areas, plus I hear they have crappie up there in the back bays.
jediangler
I always gravitate towards smaller conservation area lakes when the wind blows over 30km/h. Find one with a launch in the northeast end of the lake as the wind will be blowing from the southwest. You can fight the wind early then blow back to the launch at the end of your day. blarg
Another uncomfortable day on nippising, i was hoping to get out in the morning, i might anyway, but the east end of the lake will be boiling no doubt, i need better timed days off. I haven't been out since the season opened, the weather has been pretty terrible at times.

Fisherpete
Sobeys, no Metro, better species available there. Don't fight much when hooked though.
