hurraylien Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 okay my last 5 trips i,ve been skunked but i still had great days out but needless to say i was starting to get bummed out.i hit port albert and kincardine this weekend and both spots were slow and low but we had a little surprise we caught 3 lakers over 2 nights of fishing in kincardine.of course they are out of season so the had to go back but i probably wouldnt have kept them anyways.they arent steelhead but they are trout and they ended my skunk streak so heres a few pics of the weekend
Leecher Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Nice looking lakers you guys caught Thanks for sharing Leechman
ccmtcanada Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Great job on those lakers! I've yet to catch one of those....from both boat and shore! Nice to get those skunks to go away isn't it?
MARK69 Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Hey, nice lakers you got there...All nighter I presume looking at Jerry's eyes... Forbsie
Greencoachdog Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Real nice shore Lakers!!! The water has got to be cooling down pretty well for them to come in close and shallow like that!
fishindevil Posted October 14, 2008 Report Posted October 14, 2008 Afew nice fall lakers for sure !!!!...nice pics too. .glad you got the monkey off your back...cheers
timmeh Posted October 15, 2008 Report Posted October 15, 2008 Nice lakers, never caught one of those in the tribs yet. Too bad no steelies yet but it's always nice to get a surprise catch like that. Surprised to see that few people at Port Albert, though I suspect the beach was full. Once things pick up it's hard to find a spot to stand in that section. But if you've been there before you likely already know that.
Stern Rules Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Was that a cormorant and if so, did you ring it's neck?
MARK69 Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 I hope that's not a cormorant unless it's on ROIDS ....Cuz if it is, LOOK OUT.......Thats a big bugger .....I think it's a heron, or at least hope so.... Freek
sharper Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Those are some great looking lakers from shore, good job!
TroutnMuskieHunter Posted October 16, 2008 Report Posted October 16, 2008 Definately is a Heron...congrats on breakin the curse and gettin some trout!!
