Great weekend , lots of people but to be expected. water was suprisingly high for this time of year, which left for a lot of fish to still to be spawning.... action was non stop both days for the first hour after daybreak, then slowed down until about 10 and picked up again for an hour or so...after that we put in some leg work and picked up a good amount of fish here and there in the smaller pools...enjoy the pics...we took more video then pictures this year so excuse some of the poor pics as i had to crop them out of vids for the post....don't thrash the net as we really didn't have any room to walk your fish down to a nice landing spot with 15 guys next to you on either side !!! ....Nice to catch some georgian bay steel for a change....alot smaller that the lake ontario steelhead but much nicer to look at, not to mention no lamprey marks !!!

we managed atleast 15 fish out of this pool...most of which were claimed by the big fallen tree, LOL !!! Still fun though

Since when did Spiel own an Islander? j/k Congrats on the new reel. Islanders are smooth sexy workhorses.

Looks like you had a great day out. Great catch and the fish are all beauties. Although the fish are on the smaller size, I bet they were a blast to hook
