Help id this fish species

Hey,

 

My wife and I went for a walk through a local park and crossed a stream. There were about 75 of these guys all piled in one spot. I have no clue what they are. The pics aren't that great but maybe someone can recognize them.

hey evster.

 

lol there's no way to tell from your pictures but i think i know which creek your talking about ... i go to the uni. of waterloo and saw the exact same thing last year around this time... they are suckers ... only here for probably 2 weeks or so and they'd disappear

Yes Laurel Creek has oodles of them they dont dissapear they just arent spawning anymore so they tuck back up into the brush/banks/crap
