ccmtcanada Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 With Bill's thread on ice thickness safety, I thought I'd post this video that Rick put up last year. Watching this may save your life if you should ever fall through the ice.

<param name="movie" value=" name="wmode" value="transparent"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="320" height="240">

Play safe everyone!!!

ccmtcanada Posted December 13, 2007 Author Report Posted December 13, 2007 That is an amazing vid and I watch it every year! That guy is crazy! Yep...first time I watched it and saw how he got out and then put himself BACK IN the water again, I thought this guy was nuts...LOL. Great information to have....I hope no one has to ever practise this for real!
TJQ Posted December 13, 2007 Report Posted December 13, 2007 Im gonna pin this one for a couple of weeks.... EVERYONE should take the time to watch this.
Rizzo Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 some interesting tips that hopefully none of us will ever need
Dabluz Posted December 15, 2007 Report Posted December 15, 2007 This video should be shown more often on TV and every year on top of that. This is important information. In my area, there are quite a few drownings during the winter. The video has important information for those who witness someone going through the ice. There are no statistics on how many people go through the ice and are quickly rescued by friends or people nearby.
FishFinder Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 (edited) A must for anyone planning on travelling on the ice Edited December 23, 2007 by SkelzWoods
