ricoboxing Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 a buddy wanted to go fishing with me so i left the kayak at home and took out the canoe while in the shallows i saw a small muskie sunning himself, so my first cast of the day got me this guy with a bucktail thought it was gonna be a great morning of fishing, but it was dam cold, and we didnt get anything, so we packed it in at 9:30 am maybe next time!

We went to the place you recommended, and caught a few small fish, but at least there was no skunk today. Thanks for the tip by the way! Next time we'll go there without the little one...we had to find places between the thick weeds for her to plunk a worm on a bobber down. I'd have like to have fished the thick weeds a little more. Oh well...still had a great day out there.
