  1. http://www.backroadmapbooks.com/index.php?...amp;cPath=66_79 Mussio ventures in my opinion have the best books. http://www.tower.com/surf/explore/nav_exp/...ssio%20Ventures This ice fishing one is a real sweety. Again be on the look out for the lakes with no maps. There are some real nice Lake X's in there.. http://www.fedpubs.com/subject/outdoor/icefish_ontario.htm
  2. I have the various fishing mapbooks and the backroad maps. What I do is this. I spent some time with the fishing maps I had interest in, figured out where exactly they where with the backroad maps and then used the ontario fishing regulations book. I have the fishing seasons (with the exceptions) of each lake marked on the map, with a referral as to which page on the backroad map it is on, that way you can plan to hit a few lakes over a week-end and know exactly what type of fish your going for and what the season and the special regs are. Be sure to read about the lakes with no maps. There are a bunch of them, they have general descriptions of them in there. You can find em on the backroads map and head out and check it out. There is a bunch of honey in those pages.
  3. There is not very many ads in that book at all. There is lots of information about lakes, fish in the lakes. Pair it with a back roads map and your good to go. There is not one fish recipe in it either. Good Luck
  4. I have never been hosed by tall tales. Always thought the guy was alright price wise for bait.
  5. Backroads map books, Stocking lists, There is a good icefishing ontario book you could start with.
  6. I am with you on that one Rizzo. Maybe a goal differential with a limit of +/- 5 that can be gained or lossed for each game. Anyhow last nights game was unbelievable.
  7. Great Tune Sinker
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UauECrCIYl8 Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks doing "Old Friend" amazing. music starts at about 40 seconds into video Happy New years everybody
  9. Well That was a pretty amazing game. Both teams played amazing. Hard hitting, great plays, great saves at both ends and just and all around amazing game by both Canada and the U.S.A WOW.
  10. I agree. I mentioned that they couldn't help but to score. They did everything but shoot wide. LOL. Goal differential will not be a factor, we will go undefeated. Like chickenhawk said the pucks just kept going in.
  11. I was a little unimpressed with the 15-0 as I tend to think such things are unsportsmanlike but then again the Borat's were so bad they almost couldn't help but score. Canada will beat Russia in the Final.
  12. Fish crisp rules. So does Chronzey's stuff.
  13. My buddy got a cabbage patch doll from his grandmother when we were in high school. Pretty funny. I guess he will always be the ole girls baby hahahha
  14. I use a medium light St Croix for dragging lindy rigs around for walleye. I use it to jig as well.
  15. Really cool gift. http://www.journalsunlimited.com/store/pro...ermans-journal/
  16. So Mattones are ya taking the place?
  17. That was hilarious
  18. If you are close to Goderich head down by the salt mine and talk to the salmon guys they will prolly shed some light on the subject for you, the Canadian Coast Guard has a place down there, pop in and talk to the guys, they prolly talk to the fisherman a lot when they are all cleaning there boats, and there is a tackle shop up on highway eight. I was working in Goderich this summer but I did not get to fish it at all. Kincardine I heard was the best summer spot for salmon. I also heard there was some smallies kicking around the rock piles down by St Joseph ( about 7 miles or so south of Bayfield). But again I do not know first hand as I did not fish it. There are a bunch of steelhead out in the lake somewhere as well. I saw a pile of Carp in the Bayfield River by the boat launch if your into that sort of thing
  19. Looks neat. The reverse thing is a bit silly, it wouldn't clean the hole but just throw all the crap back down the flights into the hole.
  20. Nice whities. You live in Heaven
  21. I love the one with the map. zooming into areas checking out lodges and dreaming of fishing trips. I have fished every single one of those places in my mind. lol
  22. The French River Delta is pretty great. Look for Bear's Den Lodge, they will come pick you up at Hartley's Bay and boat you in. It is about a five minute ride. Walleye, Pike, Small Mouth Bass, and some monster Musky. I liked it there, There is a lot of other places on the French as well I just mentioned that one because I believe the fishing is better on the Delta side and I have been to Bear's Den. http://www.bearsdenlodge.com/ This is a really good resource as well http://www.ontariooutfittersnetwork.com/ as well as this http://www.getnorth.ca/ Good Luck.
  23. I dont know. Kenny vs Spenny can be pretty funny. lol
  24. If you have 5 or 6 guys the price on a cottage rental shouldn't sting too much once divided up. The French could be done. It puts you at an 8 or 9 hour drive which is not bad for a day of travel.
