  1. I did my kitchen 2 years ago and went with solid surface. Same as Corian but a different brand. The main reason is because its softer than stone. When you set a wine glass on granite, you have to set it down easy...and so do the kids with a glass. When you set it on the Corian, you don't need to think about it. I plan on building a house this summer and will do the same again.
  2. thats some nice work..I commend you
  3. If you don't hear a good rumour by noon...Start one!
  4. How quick do you need it. I buy from all the warehouses but I'm going away next week and can't arrange for anything that fast. Go to a steel fabricator and ask them. 1x1x1/8 should be around a buck a foot
  5. I have my own insurance...I don't care if the other guy does. With no fault insurance, mine pays me for what I am covered for and then its their problem to get it out of the other guy. The only reason we all have to have it is because the insurance companies want it that way. You don't need a drivers license to drive a sled..unless you have had it taken away for impared driving. Ownership matters not. If it looks stolen they just run the numbers on the side of it. Why do they have to stop every sled on the trail? Up here we go through this every day we go out.
  6. Not the stickers I don't think...eh..anythings possible though
  7. Juest realize that they aren't transferable. You are suposed to carry the paperwork showing what sled they were sold for.
  8. sorry..I couldn't be responsible for corrupting you like that I'll stick it on yet. I don't ride here much but later in the year i like to be able to rip back and forth between McNabb st and the Zone Sunday afternoons...airing things out so to speak. PS heading to Grand Marais Mi Saturday for a week of riding...should get better than a thousand miles in.
  9. great...another throttle jockey out on the trails wanna buy a permit cheap...I never stuck mine on yet PS...the boys in Blue are gonna be all over you this weekend...keeping the trails safe
  10. As much as I would like to...I'm a nope
  11. you guys are sick
  12. As far as the Native stuff goes, I think some parts of the treaties need updating, but I'm not a politician so I can't do a lot. The education system for one really needs some work. It doesn't take checking my papers to bust that guy over there for drinking.
  13. Keeping it in the sled is also good for the guy that steals your sled so he can show the cops that he has his paperwork in order. Why should I get stopped and checked just to make sure I am not breaking any laws. Again..do some police work and catch me breaking a law. A cop asked me for proof of insurance and I said I didn't have proof. He looked startled like he just caught the biggest criminal of all time. I then proceeded to tell him that all I had was this little pink slip the insurance company gave me. He said, yeah,,thats what I want. I said, well, how is that proof...I could have cancelled my insurance the day after I got that. He said..yes, but thats when we do a secondary check. I said, are you gonna do a secondary check...he said No, so I said, well then why did you stop me to check my insurance!!!!!
  14. I understand you posting it and its good for all of us. I don't like the idea of blitzes. If you are going to enforce a law, then enforce it. Don't let people get used to operating in one way and then go jump them in a sudden law enforcement blitz. Its just not fair. I still say we have too many piddly laws that serve no purpose other than revenue and were enacted as knee jerk reactions to a lone problem. If they have a poacher in the area that is causing trouble then how about some honest police work and go catch the guy. There is no reason to stick it to the general public because of one bad apple.
  15. Alll right...lets get them out there and nail some hardcore criminals
  16. I do well with the second one
