Leo himself claims he is fine, but doctors won't let him play tonight.... He reports no concussion symptoms present. Unfortunately these days in sports, even if you have a slight headache, you won't be allowed to play for fears of lawsuits.

its too bad folks are fishing deeper and deeper on quinte.... those fish sure are going to suffer.... folks using dipsy's without batting an eye. others using divers off leadcore.....one person I read thought his leadcore was going 2' a colour....dropping a td11 off 5 colours of core and thought he was going 30' down.... a certain board owner suggesting that if you bring in your fish from the depths quick, and release it "right away", it'll magically fix itself and swim back down...how many folks reading that, not knowing any better, thinking he's correct? whats worse is many of the guides, in order to get fish for their clients, are fishing deeper and deeper as well.... oh well....like most fisheries, as the quality of fishing suffers, the crowds will diminish...then the fishery will rebound, and go through the cycle again.

well, it is "sorta" like it.

strong showing from our boys. Leo had BETTER be ok with that shot taken from Ove.

I agree with you Riz.

you are one of a kind my friend. yes, I know they see tons of use. however, in the same respect, you also cannot deny there isn't another brand of open water fishing tackle that have had the number of reel issues as Okuma. i'm sure there are tracker owners out there whose boat hasn't cracked...but that doesn't change the quality of tracker.

please contact the seller and express your concerns. don't be a buyer who tells him tomorrow AM your not interesting in paying your previously agreed price. just let him know you feel it is three years older than you expected and you are reviewing the value. he may have others who are willing to pay his asking (or your agreed) price.

their quality has reduced substantially on much of their products. their rods and reels have always been garbage, so I won't comment on those. but their lures are starting to be super garbage. the taildancers were one of the first to have problems. lips missing (and i'm talking fishing quinte in over 100' of water...which means NO they didn't hit bottom), and as well, the paint flakes off to the point where some of my original td's are just bone white now.... next came their hook changes on all their standard cranks....take any specific crank that is over 3 years old, then take that same crank sold today. now bend each treble and see which one is weak.... finally, split rings on rapala's are super garbage, UNLESS they are the J13 model...that model appears to be the only one left with decent hooks and trebles. mainly, the issues today are with the lips, the paint jobs, and the hardware (split rings and hooks). compare a yozuri to a rapala....you'll quickly see the difference.

they are starting to be like okuma. garbage gear but customer service is good. if 1/20th of the customers have a problem, take care of them.... but overall, reduce the quality and hope 19/20th of their customers are only couch fisherman. outside of their original j9's, j11's, and j13's, i've moved away from Rapala. It appears all are happy on this thread that their rapala garbage was replaced, but no one questions about whey the product is garbage in the first place?

take a very close look at the rest of your roof.... generally you don't lose a couple shingles unless the rest of the shingles are also "almost" ready to go....

My boy is on fire! Go Leo!

government sector employee's and union employee's get fat retirement benefits.... the rest do not (unless they contribute 100% to it). one thing that folks forget when talking about paying off mortgages is average income vs average house costs. in the 70's the average house cost was 1.5 factor to the average house hold income. in the 80's the average house cost was 2.0 factor to the average house hold income. in the 90's the average house cost was 3.0 factor to the average house hold income. in the 2000's the average house cost was 3.5 factor to the average house hold income. in the 2010's the average house cost is a 4.0 factor to the average house hold income. that should be basic enough to understand why it was MUCH easier to buy and pay off a home in the 70's and 80's than it is today. My parents bought our first home in 1986 for $55K. Dads income was $40K annual. (mom didn't need to even work). Today my parents house is worth $265K (here in Hamilton). Dad makes $50K annual (trades) and Mom makes $45K annual (retail). 3x's house hold income to buy the same house that once was basically 1:1 household income vs cost of home (and that was just a single income). so again, before you comment on how it was to pay off a home compared to today, please understand the difference is the value of homes vs average house hold income. geez.

bigfatbass is a good resource when it comes to most things bass fishing...including tournaments.

well put Big Cliff. every dollar counts during the retirement years.

plus you have things like the emerald isle tournie and other "one off" tournies.... and some of them are quite big!
-
you're right about that. crazy thing is, I'm still entertained watching them. they win, they lose, either way I still enjoy watching the hockey. however, I cannot stand what Rogers has done to the intermissions, etc. strombogofuhkoffalous needs to go, lol.

What to do if you catch a Canadian or world record fish
Steve replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
of all the species, musky would be the one I'd love to see fall.... cause there isn't a more contested record than the muskie one... what would larry ramsall do with his time if a record muskie was caught, lol. -
Kessel and JVR are first line players on just about every team in the NHL. Komarov would bring value to every team in the NHL.
-
nice. Floyd and Glenfiddich makes for a nice combo. it would be amazing to hear some of the other outtakes from the Division Bell sessions. Apparently there is over 40 hours of recorded music, most of which was written and/or composed by Wright.

i think things are going to get dirty... boston isn't going to be able to handle this much longer...one more Leaf goal and things are going to get interesting... time for another cold one

here's a test result for that hull: Our test rig was outfitted with a Mercury 125 outboard with a 12 ½ by 23 aluminum prop. When we tested the Tracker Tournament V-18, we found she climbed up on plane in only 3.9 seconds. When we tested speed, she was consistently at 30 mph in only 7.3 seconds. We found her best cruise to be at 3500 rpms which registered 38.7mph on our Stalker Pro radar gun. At cruise, she burns 6 gallons per hour and has a sound level of 82 dBa at the helm. We achieved a top speed 45.5 mph turning 5400 rpms. At this speed she burned 11.9gph and had a sound level of 94 dBa at the helm. Cruise range was 176 miles and top speed range was 141 miles on her 41 gallon fuel tank.

is it because you are only powering to just over 2/3's of the hull's max power? that boat is rated for a 150.
