Yah, the GPS + Garage Door Opener can really hurt when your vehicle is stolen.

"towards" the government dock - not likely to the government dock. If you recall, the last set of ghost nets (located back in 2014) were found in the same area. http://www.nugget.ca/2014/06/23/third-ghost-net-found-in-lake-nipissing A third ghost net full of fish was found floating in Lake Nipissing between the government dock and Manitou Islands. The discovery was made Friday. Witnesses told The Nugget the yellow net was full of various species of dead fish and was put into the back of a MNR conservation truck at the North Bay Waterfront Friday afternoon. Jolanta Kowalski, senior media relations officer with the Ministry of Natural Resources said “the MNR did receive a report Friday of another ghost net with dead fish in the same area as the first one.” “This is the third such net found this season. Our enforcement officials continue to investigate.” Kowalski wouldn't comment on the cause of the free-floating nets. “All I can add is that two nets were found in the same general area – another net was found in different area on Lake Nipissing. They were all found over approximately two weeks.”

if it still stops the sun, then its GREAT for summer (less for keeping warm in cooler temps). however, they are thin enough that I hope they keep the rays out. we'll see soon enough. Bass opener in 11 days :)

edit: i weighed wrong, I'm an idiot, lol.
-
it turned out to be a brown? man, I've caught many browns and a few 'tics and I still say it's tough as heck to tell them apart (at least until they get bigger). those 3lbs to 6lbs fish, which seem to be most common, are tough to tell them apart. nice fish - no matter what it was!
-
stupid question but how do you weigh your tongue weight?
-
so I got my 12 in today. they are much thinner than the two I already own. I hope they keep the sun out! Website shows SPF 40.... They certainly will be cooler than the two I currently own....I weighed them compared to the two I own and they are 40% lighter.... Guess that is a good thing, but can also be a bad thing. Not sure how they'll work out....but for $5 bucks per, if I don't like them, I'll sell them and make my money back. couldn't imagine paying full price for this specific brand however. too thin!!!

well, I'm going with a Brown Trout.

407 will be completed by 2017 .. it will end at the 115/35. that's when the true "mid north" traffic is going to start....

I fully agree with the action of the police in this situation. Sure, there is a good chance the MNR could have sedated the animal and brought it somewhere else (likely to get shot, just not in front of a bunch of city slickers). But, if something bad was to happen, with all that media around, the cops would have been trounced. And I don't think that would have been fair. They handled it well. It sucks the bear was shot - certainly, it does. However, the cops handled this situation safely.

Now that I've been through this, Lennox is the best. But you pay for it. then the next round is York, Carrier, and Rheem. After doing lots of research, and having more than one quote, I learned the installation becomes the most important part of your AC, once you have passed on Lennox. Lennox will cost you 2x to 2.5x the amount of a Carrier, York, or Rheem. I just purchased a 2 ton York. Cost me $2,500 installed. http://www.cosmopolitanmechanical.com/ These guys did my install at the best price. BOONSTRA was the most expensive, and provided the lowest quality system with their highest price. Hope this helps a bit at least.

Monstarz. Good job Craig Ruthowsky. I believe it is a good thing to be critical of the actions of all citizens, including the police. As soon as we lose critical thought, we truly show we no longer care.

If your gas tank on the above boat is not removable, you require a fire extinguisher.

great to hear Novacraft!!!

interesting. don't hear of many residential geothermal systems these days. I only know a little about these systems, however, the system that you mean, an open loop water system, is the least common of the three standard systems. Vertical loop, horizontal loop, and open water/pond loop are the three systems. I've never actually seen a pond loop system in use. I understand these are the toughest systems to install and maintain, because they are open loop. The horizontal loop and vertical loop systems are both closed loop, using a sealed glycol system. These systems run smoothly, but are more often used on commercial and industrial buildings, as it takes a lot of power consumption before truly seeing net benefits. GeoSource Energy is one of the best in the business. I just checked their site and they appear to do some residential work. At minimum, they would recommend a better shop if they aren't suited best for residential work. Give them a call or check out their site. http://geosourceenergy.com/ You are correct as well about a regular home inspector. They would just put on the report to hire a competent inspector with geothermal specialty.

Petition to allow more walleye restocking on Lake Nipissing
Steve replied to LNSA_'s topic in General Discussion
I do get what you are trying to do. I do. But you are asking for more tax dollars to increase stocking, while very legitimate, knowing the stocked fish are just going to be netted and sold (which you admit your ok with - also fine). Commercial nets have been purchased out in many locations throughout North America. There are cases where this involved natives. It can be done. Once the nets are removed, then you can go back to square one. Improve spawning habitat and stock / rebuild native fish populations. I'll donate the first $100 if this could be done. -

Look, Natives only want one thing.... Money...and the easier they can get it, the happier they are. Just look at the Haldimand Samsung Solar project...they were against it until they got their 10%, then they magically were all for it. RAISE MONEY TO BUY OUT THE NETS. That'll be your only solution. Get a number from them. The cost to buy out their nets. Than raise every freaking dollar of it...and buy them out. Once that is done, start rebuilding the lake. Until that can be done, you're patching a sinking titanic. -
agreed wallyboss. I'm not a small dude and it sure helps keeping me cool in the hot sun.

Yes, the Tampa series has been fun. Good hockey. Muddler, you have picked four teams in your avatar (and failed with all your choices). Adding a couple more choices to show you are a winner? This year I'm going to like Detroit, Winnipeg, Calgary, and Toronto....yay me!

Well, that's easy ... have you ever seen the Cop Union in action? You basically can't get fired from being a cop....Hamilton police are an example of that.... If you don't give out as many tickets as a peer, you sure as hell aren't getting fired....
-
Just wish the water cops on Lake Ontario could get their **** straight. Some feel a nautical map is law and required, others feels it is a "should have", and finally others feel unless you are miles off shore, you don't need it. This is all from the SAME COP BOAT (but different cops on the boat). MNR, Coast Guard, and even RCMP boats don't ask for it...but the marine cops sure do (at least some of them do). Then of course, for those who actually read the regulations (like I do), question back the cops and ask them to test your "knowledge". Cops then look at you confused, because they themselves don't know the rules, lol.

no...i asked three years ago for a sticker....apparently that was a voluntary thing that is no longer being done.

does the ETEC tiller motor have that advanced throttle control options?
