  6. I'll also throw a nod to Tim Hales.
  7. Children will always need to be diapered and attended to, that's just how it works.

  11. I have a couple of tables at the swap this year. Not sure of the date but first weekend in Saturday seems ....well not quite right Bruce.
  12. I'll try that Lucas, thanks.
  13. Thanks Doug. I watched Mom make them many times, even know the process, I believe what mine lack is a Mom's love. FYI, she used to mix a bit of flour into the cold milk to give it a thicker creamy texture.
  14. Oh my, scalloped taters, love 'em. Never could make 'em like dear ole Mom's, they were to die for.
  15. Salad starter, then soup then fish and the still yet undecided..... and no, not gill netted......
  16. Mmmmm, Mmmmm good. The makings of some French Onion Soup for dinner along with some fresh Lake Huron Silver gifted straight to my door.

  19. Just in from the Hamilton G2G event. Thanks to Loonietoons for getting it off the ground as well as thanks to all who attended. We had some wobblies and giggles with many a tale told. The turn out was pretty good and I did try and get a few pictures though not of great quality. From left to right.... Loonietoon, Old Ironmaker, Wormdunker and HTHM. Again from left to right Old Ironmaker, Wormdunker, HTHM, Rob (son of Bigugli) and his wife holding their newborn who was camera shy. Bigugli happy to sell Fish Farmer a jar of his amazing homemade Salsa (I got one too), yeah! Left to right, again Bigugli (to his right his wife, sorry Judy, damn camera phones!) BITEME. Esq and Pics. ....and after most everyone had left a late arrival, good to see you again Goran. My friend Gary who was also there took a few pictures, I'll post when I can.
  20. When you say "material" Albert do you mean like bad jokes.....LOL
  21. I do have room. Roy knows he is welcome anytime.
  22. The crust was premade roll out stuff my daughter brought home for me JD, I believe it was Pillsbury, needed 3 rolls (two per package), top side and bottom. Worked just fine.
  23. Definitely stick with back ribs. Dang all these rib pictures are making me hungry for ribs, go figure. Rib eyes on the BBQ shortly with baked taters, broccoli and a couple dozen garlic escargottttt.... drool!
  24. The big beast is gone. The big turkey pot pie that had to come in at near 10lbs has died, none made it to the freezer for future meals, sadly. The last 1.5lbs is warming up and will shortly be gone......it was yum, yum, yummy!
  25. I cooked a traditional Christmas Turkey dinner with all the trimmings for my daughter and I and of course that meant leftovers. So after the main event and my fill of hot roasted turkey snadwiches I had enough left for a gigantic turkey pot pie as well as a large batch of creamy mushroom/turkey/penne soup. The smaller pot on the left is full of a double batch Spiel version of this ( http://www.ontario.ca/foo…/recipes/silky-rutabaga-apple-soup ) for my vegetarian daughter.
