  1. So will HeadHunter be working one of the stalls in a flashy Hawaiian shirt with "Metal Elvis" playing over a crackling mono stereo system .....
  2. I thought it was Fushcia, or something along those lines. Could be a clash issue all round I think.
  3. Oh and I fixed it so they won't call you "MINNOW" anymore Dave.
  4. Wouldn't his black rod be a better match with either the black or grey scale, just thinking out loud.
  5. I tend to refer to them as "sonar units, "Dufus"!
  6. Thanks Drew, I'd give anything to turn the clock back and have a day like that with my Dad! I've no doubt you make him proud every day!
  7. I don't know much about anything Lew but I am pretty certain that Diane spoils you!
  8. Well this is news to me and I'm truly saddened to hear of this. I first met Tambo on the Notty many, many years ago. We had an enjoyable afternoon together and I found him to be a class act all the way! Young by my standards but a true gentleman. We kept in touch over the years hoping to replicate that first afternoon together so many years ago, alas it never came to be. When he first told me he had been diagnosed with Lymes I offered to put him in touch with a good friends wife who hads/has been dealing with it, he accepted and eventually spent some time chatting with her on the phone about the illness and various treatments. I will miss you Mike, you were far to young to leave us.
  9. You're a Dufus!
  10. Sure, it sounds way wrong, I agree, but it's getting attention.
  11. Did I post this already....? Perhaps, but it's more entertaining than hockey.....
  12. Mono to mono, Triple Surgeons hands down! The "Triple Surgeons" knot is far superior in my opinion and so much easier to tie! The "Double Uni" is also a solid knot, but a pain in the ass to tie in comparison to the "Triple Surgeon."
  13. Thanks Jim, much appreciated. I'm gonna make sure you fondle it, new business is always welcome.
  14. Well this sure does take me back.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AI4N_Ri3Mlk&NR=1&feature=fvwp From my youth, I'll always treasure it but unfortunately never return to it, if you there now.....ENJOY, it's not permanent! Would I....?
  15. I'm not a big fan of "The Who" by a long shot but there are times.... http://www.youtube.c...h?v=ygOaNo3M_Hw
  16. Well I don't get all excited about musky fishing per say but I'm almost finished a new musky rod that'll be heading to Lakair with me. Hopefully it'll catch me something.
  17. Funny, I've been getting my dog vaccinted for protection against Lymes but yet I can't get vaccinated. Personally I have a few friends diagnosed with Lymes, not good! One is a member here on OFC and I was thinking about him just the other night. Been a while since I heard from you Tambo. Several years back I had one removed from my left shoulder blade, fully engorged, had to have been there for 3 days before it was discovered. For the record the the wound has never fully healed, nasty buggers!
  18. It'll be 5 years this August since I was there, your post isn't helping Steve. But it is inspiring and I'm glad to see the pictures, awesome place, can't wait to get back. Congrats on all the PB's.
  19. Yes Sir.
  20. Brutal, sounds a lot like the conversation I had with Bell on Friday....idiots! ....and don't even get me strated on the fools working for census Canada.....
  21. I would suggest a slow cure (24 hour) epoxy Emil and the tiewrap Mercman suggests is a great idea! Unfortunately the stuff I've been using for 35 years is no longer available (LePage..... ) I would think the JB weld would do the job, just don't use any of the quick set 5 minute crap.
  22. No need to wait for Phil....."Rookie" LOL That's way cool, I too hope it airs. Be sure to give us a heads up as soon as you know, please.
  23. Holy hot damn! Not sure how I missed this Dan, okay I am, it went up when I was without internet for three days. I'm glad I went back a few pages and found it, nice, very nice indeed. I'm happy to see you back in your element and of course I remember the fire, crazy stuff that was. *choke, cough, cough* Oh and tell Colin to take the factory label off his rod handle, very tacky.....
  24. Jen has reached 78% of her goal, I'd love to see her reach it before June 5th. https://secure.ccfcfindthecure.ca/ParticipantPage.aspx?PID=13536&L=2&CCID=95&GC=GTv2
