Just rig up some sun umbrellas for your boat. Use a bucket of sand/grave/ cement if you need a weighted stand for it. Extend it with PVC pipe. I use PVC pipe in my tinny for sun umbrella and makeshift bimini top that rolls back. Simple, cheap and lightweight.

I own a Zodiac. I use it for Duck hunting. It takes 15-20 minutes MAX to set-up. Is it really that hard to set-up or are you just lazy... I suggest you rethink your stance on what is hard and what is easy... Setting up a Zodiac is ridiculously easy... you just put the floor in and turn on the air pump then wait 15 minutes. Done. Is that really "a pain in the butt"??!!@??!!! Man, people are lazy these days.
