  1. Try Cameron Lake. This time ya can catch over 20 eating size walleye a day. Crappie still bite in some bays.
  2. I have two Berkley Canadian Specialist muskie rods, one casting one spinning, 5/8~3 oz lure weight. I bought them used several years back, $30~ $40 each. They are not high profile but they are good.
  3. Anyone has owned Boston Whaler Montauk 17? I know it's legendary, so-called unsinkable boat. I am only concerned about its beam size, only 74 inches (too narrow?). Can it handle rough water?
  4. My friend got his package last year. It's similar size Yr.2005 Smokecraft bigfish(?) /25 HP Johnson, without trolling motor and fishfinder. He paid about $5200. I will say price for this one is about 4500~5500.
  5. Try this one www.dunromin.ca Not sure if they start to have boats for rent thisyear.
  6. A couple of years ago, my bud adn I icefished together on Simcoe. He used Hummingbird 595C. I used my Vexilar FL18. When we were close, his fishfinder ran well but gave my vexilar huge interference.
  7. Anyone knows Mariner Magnum EFI 200 HP outboard is reliable motor? From which year were these motors made, Yr.1997? I know that Mercury and Mariner motors are completely same after Yr.1995.
  8. That is a very good multispecies boat (Princecraft Superpro 186). You should feel safe on big waters. Sure we can try it on Nigrara by end of year.
  9. New age G3 boats are well-built, and expensive. Under same price, I would rather take Crestliner.
  10. All I mean is new regs allow us use big lures such as spinnerbaits, jerkbaits to fish pike on these lakes all year. For sure will catch more out-of-season fish like Muskie and Bass. Wonder if it's a good ideal or not.
  11. If we can fish pike all year on all lakes of F 17, does it mean I can have my bass gear ready all the time?
  12. I doubt we can ice fish walleye in scugog. Well, I mainly fish on Simcoe in winter, no change that.
  13. Balsam is a great lake. I fished last two weekends. Caught 5+ pd smallies each time. Last weekend fishing was slow over all, due to hot weather.
  14. Robinson Marine has some used motors for sale. They are located in Lindsay.
  15. Is it Innifil? What deep water? Txs for your report
  16. I believe yahama has better performance, but these motors are expensive.
  17. Is he a registered operator? I guess he just rents his own hut. Why dont you call him? May try if price is reasonable.
  18. Tri-lakes (Buckhorn, Pigeon, Chemong) have plenty of Crappie.
  19. I tried to book a hut from one of "my" operators, but they're full.
  20. Canning's and the Pines used to run business there, but they closed a couple of years ago. Hank Heyink Huts (in Sutton) may be a good option 905-722-3718
  21. Anyone can estimate price of a Yr.2004 Lund Mr.Pike 18 with same yr 150 HP & 8 Hp Yammy (both 4 stoke)? $20 K is reasonable?
  22. No problem cruz. Two fish enough for one person every time. One my friend has never icefished before, another one was only on ice once. They all landed fish using williams this Saturday. It's great day. Wanna catch more whities next time.
  23. 3 people, sorry for this error. Fish were aggressive during period time. We kept jigging...jigging. We used regular william spoon, 50/50 and golden.

  25. Fished on kemp bay this Saturday. 1st Laker hitted Williams spoon 50/50. They were active and bited heavily. Afternoon my friend lost a nice whities near hole. After minutes, another 3+ pd whitie hitted my williams spoon. 3 of us iced 7 lakers, 6 pd the biggest (released). Caught some herring too. Kept 5 lakers and one whitie. We fished about 100~110 fow.
