  1. These eyes were caught by 2" crankbait?
  2. Rob V "Starter" is actually a portable battery booster. Sometimes cranking battery is weak. I always have a booster with me every outing.
  3. I always keep a starter on board, just in case.
  4. If you prefer casting, go get a couple of very good rods and reels, like St.Croix 7'6" and Shimano CALCUTTA 400. It helps improve your success rate. You will have to cast ALOT over there, LOL.
  5. Depends on where you launch your boat. Rice lake is large. Look for small bays near deep water. Serpent mount Park is a good spot to start.
  6. Boat Launch at Goreski is good. You dont need to go far to find deep water. drifting the flats. Sometimes slow trolling is great. If you go east side of the lake, Pine Point is always good for jigging. GO find 6~7 FOW. There is free launch at Caesarea.
  7. I know that place. Nice fish.
  8. Caught 10 walleyes in a fairly small area. Along that island, you may have surprise.
  9. Jig + twister, that's simple.
  10. Wont go wrong with Scotty Striker Rod Holder. Thye're a bit of more expensive, but they are real deal.
  11. You have to get very early due to limited Parking space. If you go there, watch where these huts are. Usualy 90 ~110 FOW are good. Be careful. Weather seems not good.
  12. For casting, any good bass gears are enough.
  13. Some operators provide taxi on weekdays.
  14. Thumb up. There are some monsters in Beaverton area.
  15. 7 am
  16. I will say it should be OK as long as it's NOT an extra long shaft one. say, if your old motor length is 15 ", and your new motor shaft is 20 ", performance will be affected a bit, but it should be OK in many environments.
  17. Google.com has new logo for the Chinese New year. You will find some good answers about it. Happy new year ("Spring Festival") to you all. By the way, dumpling are traditional food.
  18. I saw over hundred herring swamming about 10 fow. Amazing!
  19. I own Shimano Calcutta 400CT and Abu 6500. Also I have Quantum iron, Shimano Catala 400 and Corsair 400. They're all great reels and fairly cheap.
  20. Yes, high pitch # may reduce RPM. The top speed will be lower. Also, hub size is important. For example, if your old prop hub is 4", you must use same size hub prop.
  21. Alumicraft maybe. I will consider Boston Whaler as #1 big water boat.
  22. Guess steelheading is good this weekend. Bring some worm.
  23. Most of us haven't used over 3 type of these augers, so it's hard to compare them fairly.
  24. I prefer Strikemaster Lazer. It works great when connecting to cordless drill.
  25. 401 to HW.48, until Hadden road, turn left to end of the road. There must be some cars parking on road. You can park there too. You can buy minnow at Dave's Huts. Fishing is alright, from 8 fow to 13 fow.
