  1. When you turned it off, it cut the viewership in half!!!
  2. I agree but if we're looking for perfection, we're a few years early. I'm happy with seeing progress in the areas that need the most work and the 3rd period collapses were right up there.
  3. Leafs played a great game tonight... holding the lead through the 3rd against Dallas was a very good sign.
  4. Any regular running bass tournament series you'll see 60+ boats prepped, inspected, launched and trailers parked in under 1 1/2 hr. Quicker on a dual ramp.
  5. This management group isn't going to trade away the future. If they do a trade, it'll be to get something back that will fill a void for the long term. They're no doubt 5 steps ahead and know already who's available in the draft based on their picks and who'll be shopping players in May. They haven't made any glaring mistakes so far...speculate away but they seem to have things well in hand. lol
  6. Don't let facts get in the way of Matt's ramblings! lol
  7. I hope you're right. Like the article in the Ottawa Sun said about the Senators..."They're good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to win" I don't want that for the Leafs. So they can lose every damn game remaining for all I care. Go get a shot at another Matthews or a top pick dman. Let's leave the zero growth and first round exits to Ottawa.
  8. That would scare the daylights out of anyone. Glad they're both ok.
  9. On two occasions I've launched my boat down the middle of a dual ramp launch site while guys are standing waist deep in the water, pushing and pulling on their freakin boats trying to line up the rollers. Drives me nuts.
  10. For using a jerkbait on heavier fluoro, tie a loop knot so the jerbait is less obstructed by the line. It's not 100% but it's much better than tying direct.
  11. KF, curious...you'd put 20-40lb fluoro on a 2500 spinning reel? I'm wondering because hate 10lb fluoro on a spinning reel. If it were me, I'd be using braid with a 36" fluoro leader.
  12. I would have a chat with Spiel...right here on OFC. He'll help you out or point you in the right direction.
  13. I'd love to go there just for the whole vacation experience and the scenery. But I'd be leaving fish to find fish and for that, it's just too far. Imagine travelling that far and being disappointed with a 5lb smallie or a 8lb walleye? Now, a fly-in trip to a quiet remote lake is certainly on the bucket list.
  14. It should be added that even with an unfavorable exchange, the US market is fantastic for used boats. Factor in the exchange and start looking at the price point. You'll be surprised at the boat you can get and the selection. I bought mine in PA and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
  15. LOL Good one!
  16. Very nice report and nice walleye! It's great to hear Nipissing to producing good quantities of fish. The quality will look after itself.
  17. To be honest, I think the brands have strengths in different hp classes and they seem to win and lose them. I run mostly in the 200 and up class and Mercury is still dominate with the XP Pro...BUT, Evinrude's G2 is a BEAST and winning major market share.
  18. Yes. Some people offer their opinions as an option based on what they've experienced while others state their opinion as fact.
  19. No doubt. There is always going to be people out there criticizing others while sitting on their asses doing nothing. The poor decision of one person in the massive Bell Media organization should not taint the efforts of the company. They are practicing what they preach by doing what they're doing today. I'm sure that if there is any wrongdoing on the part of the radio station, it'll get fixed.
  20. I agree with Craig. Not every aluminum V hull has a keel. They all have a centerline seam, but not a keel.
  21. Great cause and good on Bell for stepping up.
  22. Well with that I can recommend Mercury without hesitation. The ones I know are run often and run hard. And since I'm a friend of my friend, I can say I also run Mercury...on my 4th and would love a new XP. That doesn't mean I wouldn't try a G2, they're amazing outboards.
