  1. I hear you, hurts like heck when you don't even break it.The superman dive would of been great to see I'm sure . .Take care Rick.
  2. Your foot?,did that a few times, but thought I broke a toe.Not the best time for you.Looks like you and the little one will be spending a lot of time together over the next few weeks . .
  3. Not sure where or what you are fishing for,for me dead ones work just as well.just sayin
  4. I think they should sign Stamkos anyway if he is available. Sign him for 5-6 years, you will need a guy like that anyway. Build around him,he is still young enough and give the fans something to enjoy. The waiting I do not get.
  5. He's still young enough to build this new team around. I think he will be a good fit going forward. We need a elite player. Some teams have 3 or more .IMO,with the cap,we have not had a star player for years. Other teams have two great lines and then some. I lam all for this IF it happens.Bring some life back to Toronto
  6. Apparently, alternating captains through out the rest of the season..Something tells me,someone from Tampa Bay may come our way??
  7. Always loved fishing with my dad, that was always the best part.Great photos Chris !!!
  8. Love the idea as well, bought my Jiffy 2 years ago, runs well,$100.00. At this point I will continue to use my Makita and Milwaukee for work only. The smitty brings it out very easily. Next time, will definitely consider the battery option when this auger is finished.
  9. Nice guys,looks like a blast !!!!!!!
  10. From 7 to 10 here a while ago, runs even better for me.
  11. Congrats Rick, glad things all worked out well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
  12. Thanks Brian, seems like some don't understand the difference in temp and ice.
  13. Agreed,what a class act !!!! ,new fan here !.
  14. Very nice, same standard design, but that camo look great.!!!
  15. Great vid, awesome catch!!!just take care,I saw 2" at 45' this weekend and no where near where you were .
  16. Agreed,but with a explanation.
  17. Almost ready lol.!!!!
  18. That is on the low setting,we changed over to the small 1lb propane stove top burner a couple hours earlier once the sun came out. Will be nice early in the day to take the chill off.
  19. Fishing this past Sat,steady action all day, having said that $12 a scoop?Fish were a little small, only about 16 @ 12",,. Started with about 4" of ice. Having first used my 16,000 BTU 20lbe'r propane heater ,noticing around 3pm,we had almost 1.5"'s of water in the hut.No snow on the ice so to speak. We decided to leave then as we know now the ice was melting on top at a incredible rate.It was nice to be warm,Just a heads up guys, even with the windows and door open part way at -6,not counting the windchill, things can happen fast. I'll be sorta glad when the ice gets too at least 6" or greater. We will not have to worry about the heat factor. Be careful everyone with this mild air coming in.
  20. Great to know, cruise control is also a good thing.Without it I can drift easily over 10km's.
  21. Saw a fellow pass by me at about 120km or faster ,north bound at canal rd.I was doing 108km,guess who passed me in about 45 seconds pulling him over?.Having said that,he was going a lot faster then me.His seemed to be working ok?.
  22. Not sure ,but I think it has something to do with Whitefish?.
  23. Good going guys,we had 4" where we were.Upon heading out we hit 2" ,turned around till last drilled hole.Caught well over a hundred perch, but only 16 in the 10"-12" size. Still a fun day.Funny, not one previous track out,by 10am we had a small city around us lol.
  24. Sweet Simon !!!!!!
  25. Holy cow Rick, glad you are here to tell the story.
