As the average 6 year old is around 4' tall, the math speaks for itself! I would guess that it's at least 9" off the ground.

Don't underestimate the challenge of getting 92" of boat through 96" of garage door frame. Especially if you are at the max length and need to turn it slightly.

I was having a chat with my 6 year old grandson last night after hockey practice. He is pretty bright and usually understands that my 54 year old brain is fried at that time of the day. However, he came up with a blockbuster that I am sad to say I had no answer for. His question was......"If God created us, who created God"..... well, not panicking, I thought for a few seconds and once realizing that I was screwed, told him that I had some "friends" some of whom were more in touch with God than I was and I would ask them. OK, here's a chance to save me from being embarrased by a 6 year old. All contributions will be taken under advisement......

You are absolutely right Mike, we all face our mortality in different ways. We lost a very dear friend two weeks ago after a battle with cancer. She was a religious person and dealt with it through prayer. I have faced my own mortality more times than I would wish on anyone over the past couple of years and I deal with it through the eyes of my grandchildren. I think that Kareem has made the right decision to continue to live his life and I know that you will have the opportunity to have some good times to come. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.... Seems to me that the spirit may be sound but the execution impractical. What about water ski's, tubes, boat anchors, trolling motors, footwear, drift socks, down riggers, planer boards, fishing line (particularly braid), bilges, water still in outboard cooling systems, landing nets...............and on, and on.... Wouldn't most of the above stand a pretty good chance of being contaminated, even more so than the hull of a boat?

I think we need to take it easy on the new guys and gals around here, especially the young 'un's! When I was 15 Mike, full of p**s and v*****r, I wouldn't have even thought about introducing myself first and then I prolly would have told you where to insert your advice............
