For those of you that have fished with your Daughters
Live2fish85 replied to Muskieman's topic in General Discussion
I can't wait until my daughter is a bit older so that she can fish with me shes only a year and a half but I will being doing my best to get her out this summer with me for perch. I have taught her how to reel by putting a sinker on her little pink rod and casting it down the hallway so we will se and I hope that my daughter loves fishing as much as your daughters and you Joey. The wife isn't into fishing so we will see. So far shes a daddys girl. Chris -
I have had good service in the past just not from the owner unless I go in with my grandfather who is a local and knows him. I'm not saying they are all bad there just the owner twice he was helping m and when and older man came in he left and helped him when I wasn't done I left and bought my rod at Fishing World. He is also more likely to be nice if you are asking about salmon/trout fishing over bass I know that to.

cwpowell maybe they are members on here and are afraid that you might come into the store and trip and fall and don't want you to call a lawyer. Or try and get free stuff. lol I'm just playing around but lets get real it's all in your head. If you guys go in thinking you are going to get horrible service that what you will think your getting they are busy and I understand that does bill bait wipe your because then yes that's great service.
-
I have been to Bill's and yes they have good service but I found it to be no better then Fishing World. I think alot of you don't care for it because they have younger kids working there and I think that is great that they have kids working there. You made the comment about having to roll up in a 50 000 dollar truck I don't agree maybe you should actually talk to them before judging, They always say hello and ask me if I need any help. And if you want to talk about bad service got to Grimsby Tackle the owner is the worst person for service when I go in there he's very rude and it's because I'm young which is fine because I will never buy another rod from there again or tackle. But Fishing World has great service and I also made this post for the sale they are having so spend more I'll save and generally when I go in to buy something I know what I'm getting and what I'm looking for but when I do have a question I get great service. Maybe it's not them it's you. I know it's me at Grimsby I'm to young, I have seen it first hand. Chris

Trout Opener - An ICY One for SURE!!! - Report
Live2fish85 replied to Leecher's topic in General Discussion
Yea that ice doesn't look like it will be around to long seeing as the little boat was going through it but it's also still cold at night as you showed us. Looks like a beautiful spot you have there, nothing like being up north that's for sure. I don't know why I ever moved back to the big Nasty city of Hamilton lol. -

Heads up to G.Loomis fans, big sale on Wholesale Sports!
Live2fish85 replied to archie_james_c's topic in General Discussion
Yea that's true asking for forgivness is easier lol, but I'll save that for something that cost a bit more lol. Like a new boat lol. And as for the turd, I have no clue what I was thinking when I wrote that I am assuming that I was calling my daughter a turd and wrote it not thinking but who knows lol. -
No you dont want to do that you want to use the proper spray foam on the tub that are meant for tubs and pools others foams and that won't hold the heat and you will end up paying out the on hydro. Also not the safest thing with the electrical and pumps, some older tubs can tend to heat up pretty hot. Most likely it's not worth it to even keep because if you took the foam out to change a line who knows whats next and the spray isn't the cheapest. But if you give it a shot do it right thats my advice.

Live2fish85 replied to PitViper's topic in General Discussion
When you go down Rainham Rd. through Selkirk take it all the way past Bing and you will come to the bridge in Dunnville you can fish on either side of the bridge there is a restaurant before you go over that you can fish from and just park there or you can cross the bridge and go into town and park on the river on that side. Most likely there will be plenty of people fishing down there and I'm sure if you ask someone there fishing they will also guide you in the right direction it's hard to explain through message exact spots but anywhere is down there you got a chance. Good Luck hope that helps. Also if you don't catch anything there when your going down Rainham Rd. before you get to Selkirk you will see Cheapside Rd. take a right down there towards the lake and theres a creek down there its very good for catfish as well I fish there alot for cat's. Who Wants To Win $500 Worth of Rapalas?
Live2fish85 replied to craigdritchie's topic in General Discussion
Thanks Craig. No way I can't pass that up. And I like the blog specaily the add with the sea doo lol. I hate Sea Doo's there is a family near my parents that the kids (young adults) constantly fly around my boat when I'm fishing. -
Very Nice fish and I agree with Twocoda that first picture is amazing you should send that into Canada Outdoors or one of the fishing magazines I'm sure they would love to publish it and it would be neat to have your own fish and photograph published.

Thanks for that I have tried it and it's not much hard then a palmor knot, I will try this out for sure it may work alright for drop shoting so the hook sit up right.

I agree greatly with you I have changed as well, and have become addicted to this site as well. My wife can't complain though as she has her facebook and I have my OFC. I had to go out and buy a new computer today because mine crashed 2 weeks ago and I have been off work for my heart so waited until I had the money to spare. But I'm happy to be back and thank you all for the things I have learnt off here. But I better let the wife use it now seeing as this is the first site I have been on and only had the computer hooked up for 3 hours. Chris.
