  1. seems like 90hp max is the same across the board.. I tried searching for the thread but couldn't find it.. any pointers?
  2. there's only one concern though, the boat is rated for a max of 90hp and it's a 115hp on it.. I'm not too concerned about the boat being able to handle that motor as much as whether I'll have a problem with the insurance if an issue arises (touch wood) I spoke to the seller and he said as long as the new motor doesn't push the boat over 60mph it would be fine.. I want to know if there's any truth to this.
  3. obviously you know which ad i'm looking @ I feel the price is right too.. just want to know if there's any problems or issues with this year of model and the motor
  4. I'm about to purchase a new boat and I found an 2003 Alumacraft Magnum 165 CS w/ a 2005 Mercury Optimax 115hp anything I should know about this model as well as the motor? What's a fair price for it and are there any other alternatives? Thanks
  5. well, they really up their game this time I got tons of pictures.. and guess what, the seller won't budge on the price, saying it's firm and it includes shipping.. like, this is a good deal, but it's not those $5000 for a $10k boat... kudos to them for learning and adaptation

  7. great fish, I would say around 5~5.5lb because the stomach is flat.. but if it's well fed, definitely a 6lber, great catch
  8. went out again today before the cold front rolls in.. frogs doesn't seem to produce much, went back to punching mats and I finally got to fish with my old man and got him his first targeted LMB
  9. hmm... jet propelled outboard.. I was always wondering how come they rn't as popular as they should be
  10. i do.. lol but my eyes are sensitive to light and crap.. i'll actually feel nauseating if it's a pair of crap sunglasses
  11. like many things, there are always a diminishing return.. but some people (like me) are very picky when it comes to eyewear.. I can get dizzy very easily if the comfort is subpar and if there's that slight distortion
  12. oakley X Squared w/ polarized lens and Ray Ban Polarized aside from these two, Maui Jim gets my vote for amazing optics and comfort..
  13. I was at cast today and the chronarch was dissapointing, but I guess the move was necessary for shimano to realign their product offerings Those who bought the chronarch d and curado e got an amazing deal
  14. hold off on the sustain... apparently the new stradic FJs are pretty darn good
  15. Min 1500 packs for any custom color
  16. so here's my question.. Say i caught 3 bass and I want to take home to eat, and on my way home, my friend/relative/girlfriend/neighbour or whatever calls and asks me for a fish for dinner, am I allowed to give them the whole fish or does it have to be prepared at my house and I could only invite them to have their share? and of course, this is assuming the person does not have a fishing license
  17. have you considered getting a mac? a lot less headaches down the road..
  18. nice, but just a heads up, make sure you wet your hands before u handle the fish
  19. idiots bringing shame to all Chinese people
  20. I wouldn't go all out and say that Union is a bad thing.. there are pros and cons with having a Union, it's just that nothing catches our attention more than a strike and more than often, people think that Unions love to go on strike. No one seems to say a bad thing about corporations and when they do lock outs in labour relation issues.
  21. Rapala Classic Trout 5'2 UL Shimano Symetre 1000 One of the very few UL that doesn't feel like a whip and have great backbone. Also has a steel tube running from the foregrip to the butt to increase sensitivity and power.
  22. I got everything I need aside from my NRX and it should come in tml.. c'mon, don't strike
  23. not really, I don't know how to screw up the Chevy Cruze with issues (steering wheel coming off and more) when it's so well established in Europe
  24. given how little kids play with the Sunfish once they're out of the water, I would not want to be one.. If FW, a red bellied pirhana, hunt in packs and ferocious if SW, probably a bull shark, able to adapt to both fresh and salt
  25. If my Abec 9 BB, Chronarch D7, NRX803 and my Shimano pliers come before the strike, it's ok
