a mistake is a mistake.At least BRF was honest a forthcoming with the MNR.There are tagging systems available for culling, with differnt colored tags.You could get a couple of these, and use them to identify the fish when more than 1 person in the boat with you. I think it was an honest mistake, made by an honest man.If not i'm sure he would never have posted that here.

I have no doubt that you made a mistake, and were not intentionally keeping more than your limit.But the MNRs have heard it all before, and that is why you got the ticket.When i am fishing with someone, i always ask to see their permit, so i know what kind they have, and i always try to be aware of the regulations in the area where i fish.

What you are talking about are Chain Pickerel Bob.pickerel is Pickerel,Dore, Yellow Pickerel,.. How come i cant type pickerel? See, every time i type pickerel, it says pickerel

Very Cool TJ, but which is it. I grew up listening to Dad calling them Pickerel. His Dad too. In Quebec its Dore, i believe from D'or Oeil, meaning Golden Eye, but not 100% sure of that.

Mine just waited until i got to the dock, then asked if it was normal for there to be 12 inches of water in the bottom My first boat, her ist time IN a boat.Tried to use the motor to empty but with only an 8HP.....bad move .Bailed for an hour, went back home...

For some reason, i find that filleting perch, dulls the sharpest blade real fast.I think that the skin and scales of Perch are among the toughest of any fish i have cleaned.
