  1. Wayne....You are a one of the strongest men i know. Sharing this journey with all of us so openly, shows real courage and downright heroism. I salute you for this, and i cheer for Jen as she takes one more step towards winning the battle against this dastardly illness. Not a day goes by in my life, that i dont think of you and your familly. Knowing your fight, has changed something inside of me. I am forever grateful for that. Paul
  2. I love that show !!!!Thanks
  3. Nice job . Happy belated birthday too My wife is my fishing goddess too. She can really knock em dead. She can find fish better than my sonar . Dont know how she does it, but she will say, See that rock up on the bank over there. There's fish just out in front. Sure enough, FISH ON !!! Thanks for the report dude !!! Paul
  4. Mybe not for fishing licences, but i would love to see an IQ test be taken, to get a pleasure craft card.you should see the Yahoos i had to deal with last nite on the water Power boats passing at full tilt less than 100ft of the boat beers in hands, stereos booming out hip hop!!!!! Sorry, back to the original topic.
  5. excellent!! That takes the pressure off for sure. When i get tired, i tend to want to go too fast, and start botching up the job. Thanks all!! Paul
  6. Just perch Albert, nothing fllashy That will come later when Bass opens
  7. Thanks guys I will give it a try next time. I've been cutting my time on the water, knowing that i have lots of fish to fillet when i get back home.
  8. I know this is probably a dumb question, but i really dont know the answer. Can i semi clean fish(take off head and guts) then freeze perch or bass etc, then thaw them later and fillet them? Is it more difficult to remove the skin from the fillet? I get off the water late sometimes and am too tired to start filleting fish. Paul
  9. Nice !!!! I bet there is'nt one memmer here who isn't jealous of that trip.It relaxed me just looking at those scenic pics. Thanks for the report! Paul
  10. Terry makes alot of sense here. Ethics and laws are 2 completely different animals, and that makes it difficult to debate at the same time.
  11. Nice !!!! That musta been a real hoot !!! Kids just go wild for fishing.I love to see thier faces all lite up when they catch something. Good on you
  12. No, the Elite and the Siege are Mono filiament lines. I recd a roll of each in a promotional package and wanted to spool either on my Ultralite setup. They gave me and 10lb Siege and an 8lb Elite.
  13. I put some 832 on my main reel this spring and am impressed with how it casts, and how sensitive it is.i also rec'd a reel of Elite and a reel of Siege monofiliment by Suffix. Anyone ever tried these 2 lines?
  14. no comment Lew Lets just say, it wasnt my new rod
  15. I had a bimini installed on my boat before i bought it.Plenty of head room. The casting deck, is clear, and the rear casting fishing chair is clear. Doesnt affect the ride when cruising either. You just have to be aware of the poles when casting or you can snap the tip off off your rod real easy
  16. Sounds like a great day. The wife and i were on the water at 6.30 this morning, not a boat in site, mirror water and a slight mist. The wife out fished me again, but thats kewl At least we got out and enjoyed ourselves.
