  1. Now that was an upset. Hope the Canadian get back on his game.
  2. 5-5
  3. I hope he trips coming out of the dressing room.
  4. I was under the impression the snubber was to stop ripping the hook out of the fishes mouth on hook set when using braid or other low stretch line. Is this correct.
  5. Johnny I'm not sure but I think they said you have to save the sent message or you wont see it.
  6. Thanks for the info Irishfield, let's hope Lund does not go the way of some dealers and not allow the dealerships to buy boat only. I have nothing against Mercury but I like to make my own choice of power plant.
  7. Nice catch. I want to try my luck on the Detroit river one of these days.
  8. Thanks for the photos. We never see any thing like that here in South Western Ontario.
  9. Very nice work.
  10. I got these with a bunch of tackle I bought second hand, does any one know what they are and what type of presentation I would use with them.
  11. Thanks Roy
  12. How do you book mark a thread like we did on the old board. I have been playing and can't seem to do it.

    HEY!!

Oh great you ruined it for me. Next I suppose your going to tell me theres no Santa Claus or tooth fairy.
  14. Congrats on your new ride. How did you manage the Yamaha, I thought a Lunds were coming with Mercs now.
  15. Pam a solar charger will do very little to charge a trolling motor battery. They are meant to keep a battery topped up. If you wear your battery down and try to recharge in a 24 hour period it will not be enough. He would be better to put a small on board charger in or use a normal trickle charger after each use.
  16. I am in the same boat (so to speak) as pigeontroller I am biased. I have a Yamaha 115 4 stroke and find the motor to be incredibly quiet. I know there is quite a weight difference but I would still go 4 stroke.
  17. Glad to hear all is well Brian.
  18. Brian thats the nest I was told about. I think this is one of those birds out looking for food.
  19. I was on my way to work yesterday and for the first time in my life I got to see a wild Bald Eagle soaring above. Had to stop and watch for a minute. What a beautiful bird. I know there has been a nesting pair in the area the last three or four years but this is the first time I managed to see one of them. I think I may take my son to their nesting area with the binoculars and see if we can see them this weekend.
  20. I just bought my first one this winter and can't wait to try it out.
  21. I bought an Eagle fishstrike 2000 last year and love it. I see a lot of guys buying the Lowrance models. My question is what made you buy Lowrance if there was a comparable Eagle product, as the Lowrance units are usually a couple hundred $ more. I know about NEMA 2000 but I don't think that is an issue for most of our smaller fishing boats. I am asking because I want to add a fish finder to my bow mount this year and I am trying to decide on model. Do any of you have suggestions for a colour FF for the bow and will I have interference issues with my main unit.
  22. I too have the rear casting deck but access through the screw in plastic access hole. It is a little harder but only takes a minute.
  23. Thank you Lew. You just reminded me of one thing I didn't do in the fall when putting the boat away. I'll pull the prop this weekend and check.
  24. If you use the method Percher recommended be careful you can damage pieces, it does work just be diligent. As Smokey said I too would recommend replacing the seals after removal they are very inexpensive. If you decide to replace the bearings keep the old set with the tools you carry when your trailering as back-up in case of an emergency failure. If you have never done it before have some one who has show you how to properly repack the bearings or do some searching on the net for a tutorial.
  25. First of all congratulations. I also have a question how far is the Cabelas store from the Windsor boarder?
