Nice first post but did you say yourself and three buddies launched a twelve footer. I hope to of your buddies helped launch and then stayed on shore.

I met a tackle store operator in Kingsville that owned one, not sure of the size, he said they were great and he fished Erie. The only thing I would suggest is be sure to not to underpower it when buying, alot of the package deals out there are underpowered in my opinion.

What would you guys say would be a fair price for a Garmin 240 blue fishfinder, Garmin 172 GPS (non-colour) with 2 bluchart chips for lake Erie and Huron. I tried looking on the net but because these models are a couple years old I can't get much of a price range.

The Torrent is just the newer version of the Aztek (basically) and the Aztek although strange looking was a great vehicle for my family for 4+ years. As far as GM reliability there are still a lot of people bashing them but there quality has really improved in the last few years, the fact that they now offer a 5 year 160000 km warranty on the entire 07 line up sais a lot. Don't forget if we all want the North American economy to stay strong we need to support the companies that keep our money in North America.

Walleye fishing along the entire river is pretty good and can be great at times.

My son just gave me a Black Cat heater from CTC and I was wondering how it would work in an ice hut or would I be better to exchange it for another brand, Mr Heater etc.

Tracker I am using a Navionics Eastern Great Lakes as well as a Ontario topographic which helps greatly when I go up to the French river.

Because of the vehicles we manufacture for the military, we had the pleasure of having a very high ranking officer from the Canadian military arrive to address the entire workforce. He explained how much the people in the hostile areas appreciated our effort to help keep them safe as well as all notes of good will. I can't tell you how much we appreciate this at work. Heres hoping all our soldiers come back safe from their tours, and that someday we won't need to send any one else into these enviroments.

I have to agree with some of the othersstay 8 hp or above. The weight difference is not enough to be a concern and in an emergency you will be glad you have the extra power. I have been pricing them lately and the 4 stroke Yamaha is a bit cheaper than the Merc.

I downloaded the new version of AVG and ever since I can't seem to connect to limewire. Ilooked in the help section of limewire and it sais toadd an exception for limewire but I can't find where to do this. It is already in my exceptions for my windows firewall program in the control panel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did any one else pick up the floater jacket that CTC had on sale last week. It seemed like a descent buy so I picked up one for myself and one for my son. They were on for around a $100 usually $199.They are the Nautilus NC700 model, does any one have any input into this model good or bad.

I have been away for quite a while, my internet had issues and my ISP wasn't doing anything to rectify so I had to go shopping for a new provider that serviced me here in the middle of no where. The new sight looks great but I went all the way back to a newbie. That took me forever to reach 1000 posts. Hope to be able to see some of you at the upcoming G2G. God it's good to finally be back I think I was going through withdrawel.
