Anyone planning on hitting niagara it's dirty,,, gray green colour with about 8" of vis... may be ok by monday if this wind ever stops.. been a bad year for vis....

yeah we went on a sound advice.. headed to gorskie's .. the ice was firmed up and 8" the shore is tough but the ice is fine!!!!! lots of guys out there as well.. maybe 60 or so tonight.. 4 of us went .. ended up with 5 eyes and 3 huge crappie all caught after dark... just gotta watch where the old huts were and thats the only unsafe spots... to me 8" solid ice is fine and there were skidoos and quads out there as well..

thinking of heading to gorski's today does anyone know the conditions? thanks

gonna miss the personal service and smiles while in there as well... The big stores are hard to shop at compared to the small city guys trying to make a living.. BPS are nowhere near as helpfull nor are any of the big chains ..Sad to see another local business fall.... cliff...

Derby starts sat april 21st at 10am ends at 1pm (shotgun start) to be fair to all.. kids 16 and under derby.. $5 entry adults may fish for fun $6 (100% to heart and stroke for adults) payout for kids 50% cash prizes with 50% to heart and stroke prizes and trophies for the winners .. all cash to heart and stroke will go in Bradley Perzul's memory. draw prizes for a 9' custom built Frontier X and mustang camo float coat, tickets $1 each or 8 for $5 .. 100% to heart and stroke.. fishing pro robby mac will be on hand with his berkey boat for pics (bring cameras parents) PLEASE KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON YOUR KIDS!!!!!!!!!! the water is deep and cold , and bring life jackets if possible and a couple will be avail to use if needed .. all those helping me or donating please be there at 9am... lets all get the rods and kids out and make Bradley proud!!! hope to see many of you there.. cliff...
