  1. Loads of them in BOQ right now.... Saw a huge school of them on the shoal between Snake Island and the Bakelite plant the other day.
  2. I use berkley hand pour swimbaits and they seem to work well for the walleye.. Slow steady retrieve with pauses every now and then. Still prefer to use crankbaits or spinnerbaits though
  3. I find 6-9pm is the best in the summertime.... For some reason dawn does not work out too well for me..
  4. Of course you are french why else would you have that ridiculous accent
  5. I just kept a 56" for dinner so make that 10

  9. I know they come in the Bay of Quinte from Lake O(not alot of them but some big ones) although these are likely fish that would otherwise be in the St Lawrence.
  10. grab a couple drift socks... I use them with my 115 hp Optimax and get down to 1 mph easily. Otherwise I use my electric and keep the engine in to steer the boat.
  11. Never fished it but I believe it is a trio of lakes that have good smallmouth bass and pike fishing. It will likely be like the rest of the lakes around there rocky and deep.

  13. I guarantee they have far less impact on the environment than 99.9% of the people on this board. If anything they should be coming after us for all the useless waste and pollution that we generate which has far more effect on fish populations. Just let these people be...
  14. BOQ = fish Nipp = scenery
  15. I just started using them this year and they are definitely outproducing the crankbaits so far. And you are right lots of incidental catches like Pike, SM/LM Bass, Silver Bass and Sheepies (and perch ofcourse)
  16. Walleye(alot) and Pike(fair amount) are good this time of year. Try trolling worm harnesses with bottom bouncers in 12-20 feet of water for walleye. Use spinner baits and husky jerks for pike in 5-15 feet of water..
  17. He already said it was a suprise as he was fishing for Pike.... If you don't like it just go read another thread. no need to be an
  18. I think you are right... Check out this Ryobi Varius
  19. Sound like an idea to me I will report back soon....
  20. Well either it really sucks or is the best kept secret
  21. Hi everyone... I was looking to pick up a baitcasting reel for my swimbait rod. While searching I ran into the Prodigy Round Baitcast reel on Cabelas site and it seems really interesting (I have a gear aquisition problem). I know the low profile version of this reel is basically a Daiwa Advantage. Does anyone know if Daiwa also makes this one? If so do you know what model and if it is any good? Thx, Leigh
