Now that's a great idea. But why, for such a great idea with good reviews, would this be at the top of the page, "This product is no longer available. Continue shopping at Cabela's."

Do you cook them or eat them raw?

What the heck is a "sans motor" and "botat"??? When your building the casting deck, you might want to add a floor in it as well. It keeps your feet dry and makes standing and getting in/out a lot easier.
-
Well they're a determined species.. you gotta give them that!

Good luck with the clean up. I had muskrats get into my bass boat one year. They chewed up the carpet, the seats, and the life jackets. When that was gone they chewed up ALL the electrical wiring. The only thing left was the fiberglass and the foam flotation, so they chewed up the foam flotation too. :wallbash: What a nightmare that was. So I stripped it down to the bare hull, then rebuilt the whole boat interior with some modifications to the design including fiber glassing the new wood completely. -
It was a special they had on last year, but if they have any left you might get the deal, doesnt hurt to call them and ask.

Lebarons has them. I bought mine last fall for $65. Caddis Neoprene stocking foot. Water proof and very warm. Then I bought a pair of regular hiking boots from walmart for $25 to go with them.

I use a different method. Chest waders with a hole in the crotch. If the thermometer disappears, it's to cold.

They are both the same size as a credit card. Why not carry them in your wallet just like your bank card?

A painting contractor was speaking with a woman about her job. In the first room she said she would like a pale blue. The contractor wrote this down and went to the window, opened it, and yelled out "GREEN SIDE UP! "In the second room she told the painter she would like it painted in a soft yellow. He wrote this on his pad, walked to the window, opened it, and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP! " The lady was somewhat curious but she said nothing. In the third room she said she would like it painted a warm rose color. The painter wrote this down, walked to the window, opened it and yelled "GREEN SIDE UP! "The lady then asked him, "Why do you keep yelling 'green side up'? "I'm sorry," came the reply. "But I have a crew of blondes laying sod across the street. " :tease:

ME Finally got to trade in the suckers and shakers for something that took me for a real good run. He tried to run me into an over hanging tree down stream but i had my waders on, and made a quick jump off the bank and into the creek. Why is it that the one's that get off always run up stream but the one's that are hooked good run down stream, so you have to fight them and the current? PS: Thanks Geoff for the secret spot!!!!!

Great report Will!! Did you catch all your fish while Geoff was retying his 2LB test leaders on?
-
Like Geoff said about the suffix, but thats coming from a guy who uses 2LB leader. I use power pro, but like the reviews from the guys here about the suffix 832. walmart has it for $19.96, Lebarons &19.18

No you didnt miss the boat. It will be back to the dock soon with the first load of trout hunters, and picking up the stragglers.

Headed up to Big Cliff's yesterday to help put his dock in. Daniel and I arrived there at 10:30. Pikeslayer(Simon), Pikeslayer jr(Sean) and his friend(Jordan) arrived at 11:00. We started on the dock and about 2 1/2 hours later we were done and having a good lunch made by Cliff's wife Sue and Simon's wife Mary. I don't know what she calls those tasty things she made but they were ham.green onion, light cream cheese in a wrap!! Damn they were good!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup_anim: Daniel was in charge of picture taking, in between helping us with the dock. Here's the pictures he took, Simon has a few he can add too. Simon fixing the dock Sean fixing another piece of dock along with Cliff The first section. Waiting for the next section. Checking to make sure the boat had clearance from the dock. The final piece was in and we are off to get lunch. Many hands make for light work. It was a good fun day, had by all. With the exemption of Jordan who was jumping in the water with his bathing suit on to help me level the section, every time he jumped in as a man, when he got out he was almost a woman....LOL Daniel sends a big thank you to you Cliff for the engines.
