  1. not sure though... i think if it's 35ah, then it's a gell cell battery the kind they use in fishflashers however the 35ah, seems high? This i'm sure... if you're using it to start the motor, the bigger the cca/ca, the better it is... for that you'll want a marine cranking battery if using it for a trolling motor, then get a deepcycle, then the more reserve minutes, the better it is... I bought a 1050 marine ca battery for $65 from Acme Battery in Hamilton. I think for piece of mind if the battery you have will work, get a bigger one, better safe then sorry, mind you my motor is 150HP, and there aint no way i'd be able to pull start it... so i went big with the battery.
  2. Good Job Steve great detail in the report covering lures, depth and speed Keep it up Bud
  3. Change it, Mercury has pretty weak impellors... Changed my cousins impellor on his 96 evinrude, and it was still in good condition, his impellor on his 40HP was bigger then my 150HP merc impellor I change it every year..
  4. 1. Go see a lawyer, If you're expecting a new boat, you're in for a fight 2. Don't do anything yourself, take it to a professional, doing anything yourself can only make things worse.... especially if it's gonna go to court. They can say, that you further damaged the motor/boat etc... 3. Take out all your personal belongings and claim that through your insurance... ( worry about the deductable after a decision is rendered) 4. The Picture with the plug doesn't prove anything, (easily discredited, anyone can put a plug in and take a picture, doesn't mean it was in there to begin with)(not saying it wasn't, but you know where i'm coming from) 5. All contact should be written and sent via registered mail ( incase it goes to court) Make records of any interaction you have with the dealer 6.
