Nowhitebucket... they're actually 5 fish away from ONE persons limit with a sports licence. Rich and Sleded could have had 24 fish on that tail gate to do what they chose with. Yes.. you can give your fish to anyone..and they don't even need a fishing license to possess them. No... they can't be fined for anything they've done and you really need to sit down and read the regs if you think otherwise. Hell if you're so concerned call the MNR yourself to get them charged. Rich/Sleded... can you fish for something a little prettier next time though?

Sure glad we bought it for Leah's Sportrac. 2 weeks before the extended warrantee expired... both front hubs/bearings. Then two days later she still had a noise so back it went for a complete ($2500 to Ford) transfer case rebuild. It's a crap shoot... but we won this time.

As for a reserve auction. They do generally start below reserve to get things going... to get the bidders wound up to pass the reserve. I've never seen them start with the reserve price in any, generally car, aucton that I've been at...and I've attended many over the years.

Where/when did they state that Malcolm. I'm asking because I posted right here on OFC that some stuff had reserves and some stuff didn't and that came straight from Kim. The business was sold well over a year ago++ but I guess the older stock could have still been on Bill's line of credit to cut the business sale cost, but just because Kim and Des are still there.. don't let it fool you who owns the place. If I had of been smart in 2006.. it would have been me.

Screamed into Ottawa on Friday afternoon, after countless flagpersons added an hour and a half to our trip across 12 and 7! Called Crazyhook while passing the Corel Centre on the 417 and went directly to his place of employment. Was really unfortunate.. but I only got to spend, at the most, 3 minutes talking to Jamie while he handed me 10 of his custom hand tied flies/jigs. Wished I could have stayed longer Jamie.. but we had an hour to get to our daughters apartment.. get changed and be at a wedding right downtown on George St. Got there with about 10 mintues to spare and pulled into the underground parking lot to find the gate down and a note in the kiosk window "BACK IN 10 minutes"! Anyhow THANKS immensely for these Jamie.. they'll hopefully get put to good use on Nipigon in August and the smaller ones may see a back lake for Brookies as well in the next few weeks. Your boat spot is reserved for fall 'ski on GBay Bud ! Cheers, Wayne

Thanks for the report Malcolm. I would have been there if not for a wedding in Ottawa. Can't believe they didn't have at least a reserve sticker on anything that had a min reserve price. I was told all the micro craft packages were supposed to go at no reserve. I have never been to an auction where they told the audience what the reserve was before bidding started. I've watched them get the owner to wave the reserve when it got close.. but not reached.. but never told anyone what it is ahead of time. Besides.. they're were only trying to raise enough money to keep my Lund warrantee issue/costs at bay !! LOL Too bad nothing came home with you, but sometimes that's a good thing as well. I'll be up there and in the water by noon on Monday!!!

It should have always been an issue at tournaments... but they changed the 2008 regs to allow "culling" if you have a recirculating live well for Bass/Pike and "eye's.
