Well I'm not gonna start another piss and moan thread about it, cause if I keep a fish it gets eaten that night for supper. But I did sit on my dock with the local CO during the summer of 2006 and discuss this very fact about a couple boats that fish daily on the lake and keep limits and he told me exactly that. If he gifts them to his wife, his kid, his uncle etc not a damn thing he can do about him fishing the next day and taking another limit. Back to the question at hand! Depending on the CO... if you even take a picture of your third fish here on Georgian Bay, Bruce Ward will lay a charge for being over your limit as you have Possessed the fish to take the picture. I've listened to his speech twice now about fishing Muskie with a conservation licence and he will charge anyone he sees even taking a musky out of the water to release it on a Conservation licence and with this attitude you couldn't take a picture of an Aurora Trout or a Sturgeon in many places. On the other hand the CO's in the North Bay district don't consider taking a picture and releasing possession.. unless you have to run up to the lodge to get your camera or pass the fish around the boat for different pictures (or to change your sponsor gear!). With their take on things.. you can keep you limit and continue to fish provide you release as quickly as possible... and their interpretation includes allowing pictures (of even OOS fish).

LOL Fisherman.. I was joking.. but seriously you can gift fish to anyone. They do not have to have a fishing licence to possess a fish.. only to catch one.

If I don't have to use my binoculars to see what kind of motor they have... I'm too close. Now in the BOQ or similar where everyone is trolling the same area... all you can do is give a few boat lengths and try to keep in synch

Can't help you with Pine.. but Glamor (Little Bear as it should be known) is full of Lakers. My uncle is on the West shore.. inlet to outlet dam..my grandparents homestead where he resides alone at 81 yrs old.

Can't fish for anything unless I go into a back lake for specks. MNR went and played with the seasons so can't even fish for pike for the week 'till lakers open. Other than one quick trip back to pick up my "commuter" vehicle ...Hopefully I'm not coming back until Sept 26th so I have a day to pack for Dano and I's trip to Montreal on the 28th. Pulling my hair out trying to get everything done...finished last customers airplane today....bills paid in advance..funds in place for the "kids" (20 to 25) to take care of anything else that comes up...got some lawn cutting equipment to service yet and a ton of other things...but I'll be there Sunday night or Monday am hell or high water.

They came out heavy today about mid afternoon. Wasn't much fun snorting them..eating them..etc while 35 feet up on a ladder replacing some winter damaged roof to facia flashing! Looks like they may be mean this year. Hope it stays hot/dry a few more days to do them in... but forecast doesn't look like it.

Wrap'm and catch the purolator depot before it closes. Send them to your wife overnight/sat delivery. Then you don't possess them and can go out and catch 2 more Saturday.
