  1. If these are the Keep a Floats... they show in stock in Midland in all sizes.. but don't show that they are on sale!
  2. Thanks for the ice porn Ben!!!
  3. Thanks Folks! Discharged and now waiting for the home nurse after 2.
  4. Day 5 chemo over.. Hero Burger saved the day again tonight!! Checks out at 8am and then we have to wait for the nurse to come by the apartment... to give Jen her needle, after 2pm(has to be 24 hours after chemo finishes), before heading home to our house for Christmas!
  5. You know Johnny.. there is nothing stopping you from moving out of Mommy's house.. jumping a few hurdles and starting a business of your own, where you can take advantage of that HST reporting/rebate form! Heck.. stay under her roof, get an Ontario Corp # and have at it...
  6. I actually posted that pic before and said it was Brian....
  7. I heard from a good source that Geoff is allowed to fish 365 days a year without any worry of being violated by the MNR !
  8. I laid out the pathwork for Art in Computer help the other day Paul..

  11. Yes.. your new OUTDOOR card is valid immediately as it only has an expiry date on it... BUT you no longer have a FISHING validation sticker for the 2010 season.. so they could violate you.
  12. Up another kilo today... but not for lack of nagging from the parentals. Hospital food.. almost untouchable. Some she won't even open the lid on with the pre-derived notion that it's terrible. Seems to be the issue with all 6 of the patients in the Sarcoma chemo unit, so we're bringing in food from home and restaurants to keep her weight up. Monday night I walked 1/2 of downtown yonge street to fill her request for an assorted from Mr. Sub. They are few and far between these days.. sad with one of the oldest franchises in Canada... of course I saw one today at the corner of College and Spadina that's a lot closer to the hospital! Two more days of chemo...discharge Saturday am and the VON nurse has been requested for after 2 on Saturday to give her the anti infection needle and then we can hopefully take her home for Christmas. Have a feeling we'll find out a requested MRI will be next week to screw things up, but if it is.... it is.
  13. PA.. $500 and they're sold out according to their website.
  14. You don't need to have paypass..the chipped cards do it without having to enter a pin number. Leah found that out at No Frills here a couple weeks back when the check out gal grabbed her chipped mastercard and held it up to a sensor and ding..ding.. with no pin entry. What's the point of these "great" cards... no signature.. no pin needed.. anyone can steal your card and use it anywhere with tap and go.
  15. I'd prefer that I think Dan to the wet bone chilling crap down here. Always something about the streets (wind tunnels) of Toronto and the "pollution dome" enhansed dampness of the streets/sewer grates/subway etc steaming the streets.
  16. Walleyejack.. I told you 2jack2 (Jackie Chan) was the one to talk to at BPS.. not sure what's wrong with the rest of the crew. 2jack2 knows what's going on in there. Once again.. thanks for waiting for me out in Scarberia tonight. Driving was rediculous taking an hour and a half to get from Sinai to the Town Centre, but at least I now have a two man hut for my neighbour up at the lake.
  17. I know all too well Geoff.. 5pm yesterday I walked from hospital to Yonge.. all the way down to Front and back up 'till two blocks North of Carlton finally finding Jen a MR SUB.. then back to the hospital only to watch her barely touch it. I'm still shaking today...
  18. I'd stay in Red Lake Bud.... it's friggin wet and bone chilling down here.. Hope you win.. be a good change of scenery for sure!!
  19. If you're going new doors... Garaga insulated, professionally installed with their triple seals. I believe all mine are R12 or 13.
  20. Yah..okay Mike, rethink that one! lol
  21. Won't be much ice forming around our place I hear. Both our other kids couldn't get up our laneway when they came home from work yesterday at 5pm (and Kristal is driving Leah's 4 x 4). Son waded all the way to the house to get the plow truck and then promptly buried it down by the gate.. snow ABOVE the mirrors.. and had to wait for the windows to thaw so he could get them down and climb out same. Next up he called to find out how to get the Kabota running.. and managed so and promptly had it stuck many times as well.. but around 1am he apparently had the laneway passable. Not sure how much snow they really got.. suspect this was mainly a drift situation, but there had to be significant snow fall to create same.
  22. Passed her blood work this morning, so weighed in @ up 8 lbs from 2 weeks ago (85lbs), and chemo #2 is now well under way. All week long.. chemo for about 7 hours each day, anti infection needle Saturday afternoon and then home for Christmas. Then next chemo is now booked for Jan 5th, unless they change that by doing surgery... which is coming for sure now as we by fluke rode the elevator down from the 11th floor and walked to the parking garage with her Oncologist at 10:30 tonight (there's a dedicated man ...14.5 hrs after his office opens). The decision has apparently been made, but he wasn't sure all the details as he's not the surgeon.
