  1. With the ice late coming off I suspect shallow 'till the 3rd week of June this year. Generally we flat line or run no deeper than 20 feet up until the 2nd week in June on Temagami. With ice still on our bay as of today, I'm betting it will last 'till the 3rd week of June before the Lakers head out of the (30 to 40 FOW) bay for the deeper waters of the lake... not that I'm gonna get to test that theory this year! Linquest brother Cisco spoons... Len Thompson spoons.. Ripplin Redfins.. etc. Remember a 3 way.. a lipped bait on one line and a spoon on another double your chances per line! You're allowed 4 hooks... doesn't matter where they are!
  2. All ya need to catch big pike this time of year is a real shiny spoon... just sayin !
  3. Georgian Bay was open as of Sunday past.. otherwise I posted some incriminating evidence Sunday night!
  4. Roger... I bet you can get a free service call if there's good fishing on the lake! hint hint.. Livinisfishin works for an installer here in town!
  5. If the pilot stayed on that long it's not air.. and livinsfishin has you covered for the next idea.
  6. spider in the venturi or a bad thermocouple. The click is the valve closing because it's not sensing heat. I use to have a similar problem with the motorhome if it wasn't used for the winter. The fridge or furnace would not light as the line was full of air from sitting all winter. I'd run the stove to get the line purged and then light the fridge without it shutting off. Might be your problem as well and may just take some time to bleed the line before getting enough propane to the burner.
  7. They were actually first brought out for Cadillacs to haul RV trailers. I had them on the Bee so you couldn't tell there were 6 people in the trunk going into the drive in !!
  8. I have air shocks on my old '69 superbee.. been there since I was 17 years old and they still work fine. Mind you they made stuff a little better way back when.. lol..
  9. I put in an order... Paypal option.. it didn't automatically add the $3 postage.. it shows free, but the Paypal withdrawel wasn't automatic your fella has to manually put it through so he'll probably add the $3 then.
  10. Bigger shocks do zilch.. unless they are air shocks. That may be an option so you can run them normal for a decent empty ride and then pump them up a tad more for days you're carrying a load.
  11. If you can find him Dan.. he's not mooring at the Tip of the Bay dock anymore... so send him a text for directions!
