  1. i wish i could paddle that fast
  2. nice mohawk lol
  3. I wont let my son go paintballing but I'll let my son shoot a 22. WHY? cause in paintballing, youre teaching and rewarding kids to shoot OTHER PEOPLE, your gun is a weapon. target shooting and hunting, you teach your kid to not point a firearm at people and to eat what you kill, your gun is a tool. my sons only 8 months old, so I guess I still got a few more years
  4. it happens to everyone who fishes muskie how did it taste? ive always been curious
  5. whenever i go out in the yak, i never go out too far from shore. If I were to tip, I could easily swim or in most cases walk to safety.
  6. thanks for the info. off to princess auto i go.
  7. with waterfowl season around the corner, i plan on taking my kayak before sunrise. i can't seem to get a clear answer on what lights are required on a non powered vessel that is less than 5 meters. I would think that I need a green/red light at the bow, and a white one on the stern. Or can i only use a headlamp?
  8. sweet goldfish!
  9. don't wear shorts tonight!
  10. who needs a motor when ya got a carp to pull u around!
  11. too bad u didnt get the 48", she'd take u 4 a nice ride, or a swim!
  12. nice bass there, fishings been tough in that area cause of the weed thickness.
  13. a buddy wanted to go fishing with me so i left the kayak at home and took out the canoe while in the shallows i saw a small muskie sunning himself, so my first cast of the day got me this guy with a bucktail thought it was gonna be a great morning of fishing, but it was dam cold, and we didnt get anything, so we packed it in at 9:30 am maybe next time!
  14. no internet in prison? just jokin
  15. yeah, but how's that 6th finger doing? lol i've eaten bass from there in the past, and they taste no different from the bass anywhere else. Only ate the small ones (<3 lbs) though.
  16. thanks guys, luckily a couple friends backed out, so I'll be able to take the canoe out with one of my buddys! woohoo, no shore fishing!
  17. I fish from my canoe or kayak 95% of my fishing trips, but a few friends called me up and wanna come fishing with me. Since we won't fit in a canoe and kayak, I wanna find somewhere on shore we can just chill and fish all day. If anyone can recommend me a nice spot in the Kawarthas, PM me. My friends arent really into fishing, so even if we catch just small bass or even perch, that would be cool. Thanks for your help.
  18. The best provider is my VHF/UHF antenna. VHF = $10 UHF= $10 roof Tripod = $10 monthly charge =$0 Total cost = $30 # of channels = 15 amount of time saved by not watching as much TV cause of the crappy channel selection = priceless
  19. go to a trout pond (more $$) to get the jinx off you. then go back to your local trib and you will catch fish.
  20. went to michigan on the weekend so took a trip to cabelas. if you guys ever get the chance to go, you gotta check it out. its twice the size of bass proshops in toronto. not that many great deals, but worth going just to see the store. all i bought was two muskie bucktails. total damage done = $12 not bad!
  21. who cares, happens to all of us. none of us ever report it though .if u stayed home, none of that stuff would've happened. but you'll never catch any fish in your living room.
  22. actually its 5'3", 125 lbs
  23. about 4 years ago i saw a guy pull a 16 lb pike outta the berg. even weighed it and took it home, so there can be some big gators left in there.
  24. didnt take long, Aurora office took only 1 min. Last week I caught me a a 30" muskie, but it completely engulfed my bucktail really deep. I had to make the choice of releasing it with a bucktail and all 3 trebles hooked in it's mouth, or trying to remove the hooks. I knew that it wouldve died if I had cut my line so I tried to remove the lure (without the muskie removing my fingers. Had a really hard time getting it out, and when I finally did, it was too late. Couldnt revive her. Felt really bad of releasing a floater, but knowing I had a conservation license, I had no choice.
